This house was perfect for our family. Between the different floors, it was very spacious with wonderful views of the mountains. We would definitely rent again!
Stayed her with some family and had an amazing time. The house was decorated great and well stocked. Tons of areas to hang out throughout the day and once kids were asleep. Host was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Location was great and the wildlife was abundant. Saw moose and foxes. Would definitely stay here again.
The stay was nice! Plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy the mountains. Beautiful view. We are Texas residents so it felt great to be able to ski and sled in the snow! Great cabin stay 10/10
Great location secluded in the woods with Mountain View’s. Tons of living space with great open windows. Great kitchen for cooking. Loved having the two decks to also relax and take in the views. Comfortable bedrooms. Fun having the pool table for some evening games. Close to Alma, 20 to Breck and hikes all over the area.
We came with our two kids and dog and enjoyed spending time together doing puzzles, playing pool, walking the neighborhood and cooking in. It was wonderful having what we needed already in the house- plenty of space, kitchen items, and laundry.
Communication with the host was excellent.

Could be better
Overall the house was just ok. It’s advertised as a 3 bathroom but is only 2.5. The temperature was hard to regulate. It was cold downstairs and hot upstairs. The overall cleanliness was below average.

Hi Lori, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have since followed up with Evolve to ensure the listing is updated to reflect 2.5 baths.- After further investigation, it was determined the floor heater in the basement had been damaged. This has since been repaired.- Our cleaner has maintained this property for several years and is typically very thorough. That said, we’re always aiming to improve and will double-check that our cleanliness standards are consistently being met.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
The house is great! The view is amazing, better than the pictures! Beds were very comfortable (possibly new mattresses?). The kitchen was totally well stocked with anything you would need for cooking (except maybe a vegetable peeler!) SO quiet and serene. Except the moose family that wandered through the yard one morning!! The cow was making quite the mooing sound! But an amazing experience. We'll be back!!!
House was dirty when we got there . Lots of animal hair on rug in dining area! House smells a lot like cat pee -pee. To much dust and cob webs. Owner needs to remove personal items from drawers (socks, etc) Not a coat hanger in the house! Don’t think too many people should be on side deck to the left of the house! Not supported by anything. House needs a deep cleaning

From the owner:Hi Tawnya, cleanliness is a top priority, and we apologize for the issues you encountered. We've recently changed cleaning services and will be passing along your comments to ensure future guests have a spotless experience.-We'll make sure the animal hair, dust, and cobwebs are thoroughly addressed, and we'll be conducting a deep clean of the property to bring it up to our standards.-The side deck will be inspected for safety, and any necessary repairs will be made to ensure it is fully supported.-We'll also be removing personal items from the drawers and adding coat hangers to provide a more organized and guest-ready space.Thank you for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests.
My friends and family, absolutely loved the view from the windows. The interior of the house is lovely and it’s has character. However, a little update is needed. The balcony to the left of the dining table is not as sturdy. In addition, the roads heading there is definitely rough on the car, but overall it was a good experience for my family & friends.

My first bull moose sighting and the Milky Way
THOSE were the highlights. It was fun to play some pool and sit on the extremely comfortable sofa and watch the clouds roll by! The stars were awesomely bright at night, and to talk with a bull moose (bedded down next to the house) was just about more than my nature loving heart could stand. It was a nice way to spend a weekend watching the leaves change from green to gold to orange. However, do NOT ever get close to wildlife!!!! I bumped into him, and he gave me plenty of warning he was there. My husband had his handy flashlight and HOLY MOLY - what an animal!!! It was fantastic!!!
Unreal spot secluded in the mountains, and the house is massive.

Great weekend trip from Denver! The house has a perfect location near a ton of great hiking and restaurants in both Breckenridge and Fairplay.
House was clean and cozy and the host went out of her way to make the trip special. We notified the host that we were staying for my wife's birthday weekend and Christi had flowers and snacks waiting for us upon arrival.
We loved the big windows and natural light in the living room and spent our downtime relaxing with friends.
Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals without issue.
Will definitely recommend to friends for a pleasant weekend trip

Family weekend getaway
Property has a nice view and pet friendly. However carpet and pillows on couch covered in dog hair upon arrival. Could use an update with some damage to property by pets of owners or previous renters.
We absolutely had an amazing and relaxing time. This home does not disappoint! We will definitely be making another trip before Spring is over. The hosts made this stay so perfect and inviting! This is a staple when staying in Alma/FairPlay!!!
Struggled for first night with no heat but overall a good experience
We were surprised to find out that there was no heat by the time we checked in. It took some time to get hold of the owner and by the time someone showed up to fix the problem, we already spent a night with no heat. We struggled with cold until the heat was fixed. But overall it was a good experience with the rest our trip.
It was amazing experience. We enjoyed mountain and nature but we didn’t expect ALTITUDE.
First day was awful for us but after 3 days everything was good. If you are going to 11.000 feet take with you Oxygen.
I love big house, house was brilliant, clean, a lot of room. And you have everything to take your days best!
And you are near from Frisco and also most famous ski resorts!
It was amazing and we never forget our vacation .
We had a 7 month with us, the equipment at the property was great. The king bed upstairs is worn out sinks in the middle very uncomfortable. Not enough towel linens provided. Difficult to regulate the heat, either too cold or way too hot.
First off, Amy, the property manager, was present & helpful. The security/floodlights were burnt out, & in bear country, with a dog, those are pretty important in the middle of the night! Amy arranged to have them replaced the very next day.
It was clean, tidy, & had all the basics for preparing & cooking meals. The master bed was pretty creaky, & mattress should be replaced soon. Just to note, the master bath is a powder room only, with toilet & sink. It does not have a shower or tub. The large, double sink bathroom in the photos, is on the main floor with the kitchen & main living.
WiFi was adequate; not good enough for streaming movies, but fine for other social media, etc.
The decks on either side of the cabin provide pretty scenery. The large windows in the main living area, did, as well. The pool table on lowest level was a big hit with my family at night.
The location is nice; there are grocery markets quite close, there are various things to do in every direction, given a short drive.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
