Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with this pet-friendly property. It offered excellent value. The convenient beach access was perfect for walking our pet, and the kids had a blast hunting for shark teeth. Both the front and back porches were great spots to relax and take in the views. The rooms stayed refreshingly cool, and having separate bathrooms made getting ready for dinner stress-free

Beautiful Rental Home

This home exceeded our expectations in all aspects. It was beautifully furnished, had ample room for our group, and was immaculately clean. The rental company could not have been nicer. On the day of our arrival an issue was discovered in the property next door to our reservation property. The owners reached out to us immediately and provided an alternative location that exceeded our requested needs. We are so happy with them, I’m sure we will return for a future visit. I would note that, like all houses on Isle of Palms, the living areas require the ability to manage going up stairs, as the property is designed to accommodate storm surge. If you are unable to manage stairs this might be a challenge.

Excellent vacation home

This home was situated in a beautiful and peaceful area of Wild Dunes. Furnishings and decor was so perfect for a family getaway. We celebrated Father’s Day with our 82 year old father and couldn’t have been happier.

Fantastic Stay

Everything, from the house to the communication with the hosts/property managers, was perfect for our group. Close to the beach and a great neighborhood. Will definitely try and stay here again next time we’re in Charleston.

Perfection

The house was exactly as described. The layout was perfect for our family. I have three daughters who stayed on the main floor. My husband and I stayed on the lower level as it had a mini kitchen and access to the outside. The kitchen was well stocked. The appliances were in great condition (like new). The access to the beach was very close and within walking distance. We played golf one day and the course was very close and immaculate. I wish I knew about this VRBO when my daughter first went to The Citadel 4 years ago.

Lovely home with all the amenities we needed for our week at Wild Dunes. Great quality appliances. Fully stocked kitchen. We’re a family that enjoys cooking together so this was a major plus.The house had plenty of space for our family of 6 (2 kids, grandma, aunt, parents) to spread out without feeling on top of each other.The walk to beach took our group about 5 minutes and we all loved the beach and marsh views. Our children found lots of beautiful shells, so they were thrilled.Management was responsive to our text when we couldn’t restore Internet access following a brief overnight power outage on the isle and quickly resolved the issue.We were not initially given notice that a garage door repair person was coming, so that was bit of a loud surprise, but all in all, no major concern. We did get a text notification when the garage repair team needed to come back again another day during our stay to finish the repair.We enjoyed sitting on the screened back porch watching the turtles and alligators sunning themselves! Nice location in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Given it was off season, there was new house construction two houses down, but again, no big issues there! All to be expected during off peak visits. Thank you for a lovely visit!!

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Opal house. The location cannot be beat and we had plenty of room for my immediate and extended family that stayed. They also had some beach supplies there which came in very handy to ensure we had everything we needed for the beach.
