Mid-century modern (MCM) lovers will delight in a sea ranch style home designed by James Morris, updated yet still maintaining many of the original features. With floor to ceiling windows and skylights throughout the home, the natural light is able to kiss the beautiful interior and vaulted ceilings. Interior professionally designed.

Laguna Blanca Retreat has three bedrooms and three and a half baths. It is located 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and the Funk Zone, 5 minutes from La Cumbre Plaza, and 5 minutes from Hope Ranch Private Beach. It offers two living room spaces equipped with smart tvs and electric fireplaces. The gourmet kitchen has a full chef's range, high-end appliances, and bar seating.

The gorgeous back patio with covered dining and outdoor fire pit provides the perfect al fresco dining experience with direct mountain views. When not enjoying the property itself, you can venture down to the Hope Ranch Private Beach with the home's coveted beach card and experience our sandy shores in private luxury. Amazing property, location and view !

Family enjoyed staying at this property. Firstly the location and views are amazing, can't beat. Secondly the place is not your typical cookie cutter house if you are into architecture. Lastly place was clean and well taken care of internally and externally.

3rd Year Staying Here

Just love staying at this property! This is our 3rd year staying here and probably won't be the last. We like to escape from the NE winters and the beautiful vistas from this house just warm our hearts. Very comfortable, very well maintained, nice owner with impeccable taste. Nothing but good things to say.

Breathtaking mountain views!

If having beautiful vistas is important to you, you can't really do better than this property. We stayed here for two months and never got tired of the gorgeous mountain views from high above a very lush tree line. The house itself is very interesting architecturally. The owner is a designer and her taste is perfectly in line with the mid-century style. The furniture was very comfortable and we were tempted to take the beds and pillows home with us. :) The neighborhood and grounds are also beautiful and well (and regularly) maintained. Walks on the private beach were a regular thing for us. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. We loved the privacy. A few minor nits: the updating of the mid-century house seems to be a work in progress. The water heater broke down, the hot water in one of the bathrooms didn't work, and the dishwasher needed lagging down... all things that the property managers were happy to jump on. We had to scrub the kitchen floor when we first got there. We've rented out houses before so none of these things interfered with our overall enjoyment. Definitely 5 stars.
