We arrived at the property to find rubbish and messiness all around the outside of the house. The house was very stuffy and had an awful smell inside, it had not been completely cleaned and was in a mess with no pillowcases on the pillows, no towels available, a tissue and cotton bud on the floor and someone's curry in the cupboard. This was very offputting especially as we were unable to remedy any of it as we arrived late at night. We managed to finally find the owner's phone number and rang her. She was very sorry but would only be abe to supply clean towels and pillow cases in the morning. The next day, having aired out the house and sorted our problems we felt much more comfortable. The location is excellent which is wonderful if you enjoy a short stroll to get to the centre of Queenston.
Definitely not as advertised in the photos. It was smelly and carpets were filthy. The bedding was dirty and there was blood on one duvet cover. Dishwasher is broken. Fortunately we were there for one night only. Have requested a refund via stayz for false advertising. Very disappointed.

We had some issues with this property. The location of this property was nice for walking into town, the yard was pleasant, the linens and bathrooms were clean. Unfortunately the floors throughout the house were very dirty. We were asked to remove our shoes in the house, but within 5 steps white socks turned brown. There was no toilet paper or hand soap in the house, and the kitchen sponges were ragged. The dishwasher door was bent and hard to open and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes on our arrival. We informed the owner of these issues, and they promptly responded that we should buy the supplies we needed for bathroom and kitchen and that they would reimburse those costs. (We bought some supplies but did not reach out about reimbursement). When I tried to look up this property to comment on the accuracy of the listing I couldn't find it, so perhaps it has been removed?
Firstly, the property shown is incorrect - there was a picture of a bathtub in the ad - this was a large let down as we had plans to use it. Secondly, on arrival at 10pm at night, there was no toilet paper, coffee, sugar, teabags, wash-cloths and only one tea towel. We had to buy our own. Most of these items are on the ad. There was also no sheets for the spare beds that are advertised and barely enough blankets. We are were cold in summer. The locked cupboard that held all of the items could not be accessed. Lastly, when trying to resolve these issues we could not contact anyone. Just to add there are cameras on the property which felt very invasive. Thanks, I would love to hear back from someone.
This was perfect for my small group of Year 8 students. There were lots of beds and bedrooms, the house was tidy and spacious and the location was better than we could have imagined. I had a few questions leading up to the camp, as the teacher in charge and Karen was so wonderful at replying quickly. Thank you for helping us to make our Year 8 trip so memorable and perfect!

Quick Over night stay
Power kept tripping out when lights and heaters were on . Very cold house. Bedroom heaters not great. Extra bedding in the wardrobes wasn't the best. Not the best for a winter stay. Outside area very overgrown and untidy. I wouldn't stay here if I had children it would be too dangerous in my eyes. OK for a very short over night stay - literally were in the house for less than 8 hours. Great location- 10 min walk from town which is what attracted us to the property. Price of an over night stay reflects the age and state of the property. A real old family crib I would say. But it did the job. The 8 of us were there to sleep and have a shower and leave.
Overall we had a great stay at the house. Would have been nice to use the fire, but it wasn't operational, and the heat pump remote had flat batteries...but the heaters in the house made up for it and we had a warm house all the time. We had 6 adults in the house and found that very comfortable. A few others things didn't work perfectly but I passed these in to the property manager and hopefully they'll lbe sorted for the next people. Great location just out of town and not too much uphill walking to get there. We only had one vehicle and that worked great as off street parking available, as street usually always fully parked out. Great to have a supermarket on the same road and buses at end of the street. Was a great value stay.
Location great but a very old dated and dirty property, broken furniture and locks on bathroon doors broken, one fell off. Heat pump did not work, contacted owner they said they will send a tradesmen to fix, no-one turned up. Not value for money.
Our stay was short but the location was excellent. The overflowing bins did detract from our first impressions but the house was clean and tidy and provided everything we needed for our short stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Really excellent location very close to supermarket and just 700 mts to gondola and lake front. All walkable. Property is very good but need some attention for fill up the things and need minor improvement in machine like dishwasher's tablet/ powder container can't close. Vaccum cleaner not sucking. Etc. Over all stay for 10 people this is good experience.

The inside of the house was clean and generally well presented, however, there was only one roll of toilet paper for two toilets and other supplies were very limited. The furnishings were dated but mostly adequate (except the single bed), The yard however, was dreadful. There was lots of rubbish lying around, the bins were full to over-flowing and had not been put out for collection. We received no notification from BookaBach of the check-in and check-out process for either of our two stays. Over-all, the great accessibility to town struggled to outweigh the poor presentation and maintenance.
