Sit in the hot tub and enjoy the soothing sounds of South Stream, which runs right through the middle of the property where it joins the fresh mountain water from Roaring Branch on the corner of the property - thus the name "Two Brooks". This house is the last house on the road and very private and quiet, yet lies only five minutes from shopping, restaurants, cafes, bookstores, and all the conveniences of Bennington. The property backs up to thousands of acres of the Green Mountain National Forest, and the Appalachian and Long trails are just up the mountain. Nine ski resorts are within 90 minutes of the house. I grew up in Pennsylvania, and my parents used to take us cross country skiing in Vermont. I was a natural and loved the solitude and physical challenges of skiing trails of all difficulties. Later I learned how to downhill ski as well. This location is close to both as well as the major metro areas like Albany, Hartford Boston and New York.

What makes this property unique

This house is so very private, the last house with services on the road (there are some private rural hunting camps further out). Yet at the same time, it is just minutes from the charming, historic town of Bennington, with many cafes, shops and delis. Plus, it backs up to the Green Mountain National Forest and has two brooks flowing together on site! Four seasons of activities await nearby!
