Thanks for the great review. Hope you come to see us in Fruita soon.

The place was perfect; well laid out, nicely furnished, centrally located, good directions and in beautifully setting. It was very warm while we were there but morning coffee on thr porch and a glass of wine in the evening made it very acceptable.

Affordable nice large 1BR right downtown
I came by myself and a dog for a bike trip and was surprised to have the whole house to myself! The property is beautiful and couldn't be in a better location. I spent the whole weekend relaxing on the front porch with the pup by my side reading a book. Perfect getaway.
The house is stunning, the location is wonderful and the energy in the house is wonderful. From the yard to the house, it was a was a great experience. We would recommend staying in the Mahony House (Sage Brush) We needed to text the management and they were pleasant and helpful; it was greatly appreciated.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us, we enjoyed hosting you!
I and my wife Gale were very pleased with the property. Location was awesome, basically your a block away from, downtown, restaurants, liquor store, grocery stores, Crossfit, gas station, very convenient. Also, you have a 2 door garage you can use, and 2 bikes, plus the outdoor grill, fireplace and all the deck furniture. At last the kitchen is totally updated adjacent to a washer and dryer. Well done Fruita VRBO!
We are huge Fruita fans (Hot Tomato and Copper Club and the downtown Farmer's Market) and this place is just a stones throw from all those. The house is designed for bigger parties than ours. There is tons of space. A huge front and back porch area with a fire pit to hang out and stay warm on colder Fruita evening. We are mountain bikers so having a garage to lock up those bikes is a huge plus. Great kitchen and all the amenities are top notch. Very sunny with lots of windows. Very clean.

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the home and it's amenities! We cannot wait to host you again! Thanks for choosing Visit Fruita
Who could ask for anything more? Didn't want to leave...
The saying goes, location, location, location... This charming house is perfectly located a block from downtown Fruita, with everything within walking distance, including shops, several bars & restaurants, and even a grocery store. Walking everywhere was a pleasure, as there are sidewalks to town and throughout the wonderful neighborhood. We had also brought our two dogs, so we had a blast visiting the dog friendly bars & restaurants and taking late night walks...we felt totally safe.
As for the house itself...absolutely beautiful! Seriously, we really enjoyed the house, to the point that we were wishing that we had purchased the house when it last sold...shortly after we moved to Colorado. The grounds are so well maintained, from the well-manicured lawn to the amazing flowers. My fiancee was going crazy over the roses and wanted to make snow angels in the lawn, despite there not being any snow.
The house is jaw dropping inside as well, including both the original and remodeled portions of the house. We couldn't have asked for anything more during our stay here. Our dogs were more than happy too, with the fenced yard for them stretch their legs in. The hosts were also fantastic, having provided us with a gift basket and pertinent information regarding the house, including the history of the house. They also provided information on local shopping, points of interest, emergency contacts, and an offer to assist us in securing anything else that we might've needed. Thank you!!

Thank you for the detailed and wonderful review Heath! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay this year! We hope you choose Visit Fruita for your next Vacation!
This house was just a lovely combination of traditional style, historic charm and all the modern amenities you could want. Super clean, well stocked, comfortable. The check in and communication process with the renter was excellent. Good location just a block off the main traffic circle and a half mile from the freeway, but with a quiet neighborhood feel.
I would 100% stay there again.
The Sage House is a great old house with just right renovations. We stayed 21 days and it was just right for us to visit our family and the wineries in the area.
Really appreciate how clean the property was and how responsive the owners were when we had an issue. It was resolved very quickly. I am not used to historic homes so some of the character of the home ...i.e., squeaky floors, took a minute for me to get used to but it was a great choice for our trip. Looking forward to trying another of their properties next year. Thanks guys!

We had the ABSOLUTE BEST TIME staying at Kristy & Mike's.
Val & I are vacation rental owners in Kailua, Hawaii. Often times when we have stayed at other vacation rentals we are disappointed because they are not as clean as we keep our rental. However Kristy & Mike's totally exceeded our expectations. SPOTLESS best describes this place. Also they had everything we could ever think of to make our stay so comfortable. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE and their high quality thread count for sheets felt great. We enjoyed this place very much. Mahalo (Thank You in Hawaiian), Kristy & Mike

Stunning
The perfect property with the best owners. I cannot say enough good things about both. The house and grounds are incredible and Kristy was so accommodating. Our dogs loved the fenced in area, the front porch was such a great spot to hang out, lots of great places to eat outside. The inside of the house is the measuring stick for all future rentals! We absolutely fell in love with this property.

Spacious House!
I was extremely pleased with this house! To be honest, because I was renting a 1 bedroom place, I was expecting it to be small. I didn’t realize that it is one bedroom for a larger house! The upstairs rooms are locked but what it meant was that you had a full size kitchen, dining room, living room and sitting area! Plus you had a two car garage to store bikes! Finally - it is a great location and you can easily walk to restaurants and the downtown area!
Kitchen was brand new and lovely!

Absolutely wonderful. Really all of this for this price? Crazy.
The Sagebrush house is ridiculously charming with plenty of modern touches. I can't decide which was my favorite feature - the wrap around porch, the patio in the back, washer/drier, the two car garage with a "beer" fridge, the Kitchen Aid appliances, or perhaps the big comfy sofas and humongous TV... No wait it has to be the location, just a stroll from downtown.
With the one bedroom you have the entire downstairs (kitchen, one large bedroom and bath, dining room, sitting area, living room, kitchen, laundry room). If you have more people there are 4(?) bedrooms upstairs too I'm not sure how much they run a night.
