Farmhouse Stay

I had a lovely time at the Summer House. It is very secluded and quiet. Carol and Randy are great hosts. Stayed in contact throughout the stay, and are very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful location 40 minutes from DC

I needed a place to stay for a few days within a reasonable drive from DC that would not have shared air during this summer's Covid surge. This cottage fit the bill. It's a beautiful location too.

A hidden country gem!

This cute cottage tucked inside the lovely acreage of a farm was a pleasant surprise. The house is beautifully decorated with artwork, modern conveniences, and was super comfortable. I enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature while sitting outside relaxing. The location is not very far to the Chesapeake Bay, restaurants and activities. You will not be disappointed!

Private, peaceful, clean.

I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the spaciodness, and the comfortability of this property. The hosts were some of the kindest people you could meet. They were genuinely kind, sincere, loving. Very helpful and so thoughtful and considerate. I recommend highly, especially if you want to feel serene and carefree. You can literally not hear anything but nature.

Beautuful, secluded spot

Last house on the end of about 1/2 mile long lane. Lovely decor, modern ammenties. Beautiful view from porch, great place to hang out in the evening. Honestly, the only thing that detracts from the rental is the water. It is well water, and in this part of MD (according to the owner), the water is very high in iron and sulpher. The sulpher smell is quite noticable whenever you open the tap. The house itself and the location are great! Easy driving distance to many attractions and shopping.

What an absolute gem! Stylish, cozy farmhouse that just could not have been more comfortable and relaxing! Close to Annapolis, Eastern Shore, Baltimore and DC. Carol is an attentive, friendly host and we just cannot wait to come back!

Secluded Farmhouse

Everything about the property and our stay was perfect. We were able to meet both Carol and Randy. They were lovely, and couldn't have been more helpful. The house was decorated beautifully and comfortably, and was very clean!!! The grounds were so peaceful and pretty. We truly enjoyed cooking out on the grill and sitting by the firepit. It was a perfect weekend getaway!

Sweet secluded home

Our family had a great stay at this little house! The house is nicely renovated and updated with comfortable and tasteful decor. Everything is clean and well cared for. The property is quiet and out of the way, surrounded by nature with plenty of room for kids to play, a steam and woods to explore, and a fire pit for s'mores. And even though the property is secluded, its not too far from Annapolis or the sights in DC. If you are looking for a cozy and quiet place away from the daily grind, you will not be disappointed!

The cutest house in a beautiful setting!

I can’t say enough great things about this rental. The location is beautiful and secluded! The house is adorable. I love that it is an updated historical home that has touches of history blended in with modern farmhouse chic decor. Beds and linens were comfy. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Kitchen was modern and stocked with everything you need for cooking. Carol was wonderful with checking in to make sure everything was good. It was a easy, beautiful drive to the Naval academy to visit our son. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Annapolis.

Wonderful, bright and comfy country hide-away!

We loved our stay at this wonderful, unique home nestled at the edge of a woods at the back of a working farm. The house had everything that you need, with a great kitchen to cook in as well as really great beds and a beautiful, new and spacious bathroom. The house has lots of personality with personal touches and Carol was an amazing host and communicator. I would definitely book again!

This property is so close to DC and Annapolis, yet it feels like you are in the center of a farm, far away from anything. The owners have taken great care in decorating the house, and it is just beautiful. The two porches are lovely to have coffee in the morning on. Highly recommend!

Loved the artsy and hip country chic farmhouse on property set away from hustle and bustle.. Loved the secluded setting, cozy porch and fire pit with comfy Adirondack chairs in which to relax. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our Easter dinner and other nice touches. Comfortable beds and Roku tvs. Peaceful enjoyment! Very clean!

Extremely Comfortable Farm Getaway

Carol was a wonderful host and very communicative. Her farmhouse dubbed “The Summer House” is gorgeous and comfortable and exactly the getaway we were looking for. Very clean and welcoming space. Beautiful quiet property off the beaten path perfect for a weekend away from the city...also very close to Annapolis if you want to visit the shops and restaurants near the water. Can’t wait to visit again! Definitely a favorite!

spectacular experience

My family truly enjoyed our stay on the farm! The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with original eclectic flair with modern amenities to boot. Enjoyed long walks surrounded by stunning nature and fresh air while enjoying delicious meals in downtown Annapolis. So happy to have a quiet place to escape to after a truly stressful year. The owners did an amazing job making us feel at home. Would definitely rebook.
