My husband and I had a great stay! The property is as pictured and is close to all the wonderful shopping, restaurants and experiences that Manitou Springs has to offer.
This is a great place right in the heart of Manitou Springs. My husband and I have stayed here many times while visiting our son. It has everything you need. The bed is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. We love seeing the many mule deer that visit the yard each day.
Very well maintained and clean. The host company was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely book this place again.

Perfect house for a couples get away. We walked to Manitou Springs for breakfast and in the evenings to check out the area. Short drive to Pikes Peak. The house is nice in good condition and a perfect size.

Our favorite thing about our stay here was the location. We could easily walk downtown, plus it was a great jumping off place for our sightseeing. Communications with Hoste were excellent, as they were quick to respond and very considerate. The house was cozy, bed very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked with all you need to prepare a meal. We definitely enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful place, the bedroom was gorgeous, the kitchen was gorgeous. Love the BIG refrigerator and ice maker!! Lots of space in the closet, you could stay for weeks! Surprise was seeing a buck cross the lawn in front of us.. He we HUGE. Very quiet at night, loved that.
My husband and I stayed in this little house for five nights on our little get-a-way to Manitou Springs. It was perfect for us! This cute little house is located barely over a block from the downtown district. It was clean and had everything we needed to feel quite at home. We grilled out on the back porch, and we had coffee every morning at the outside table. Very comfortable home away from home!

This rating would be a 1 if not for the home owner and neighbor. The host management company was horrible! We got locked out of the home TWO times (with all our belonging inside). After the first time, they said the issue was resolved as a "technical problem" due to us extending our stay - which was done days before our arrival (then, I had to PROVE I paid for the extension - and did) however, it happened again on checkout day (a Saturday) and we had to wait hours to get the issue resolved which included getting the neighbor involved. Checkout time was 10:00 MT. We went to town for coffee and got back around 9:15 which is WELL before the 10:00 checkout time. NO response from the management company to our multiple calls and messages other than AI generated replies to our pleas for help (they indicate 24/7 support - that was a lie)! The neighbor finally contacted the home owner to let us is. Totally derailed our day! THEN we received a message from the management company that we must remove our belonging from the home or be charged extra even though we had been out of the home for several hours! Hopefully the owner will change managements companies so that this beautiful home in a great location can survive.
My Husband, and two kids stayed here for a weekend. It was a lovely stay. Gorgeous, quaint house. Loved swinging on the front porch and just taking in the views. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops and the arcade. Close to everything. I love taking spring water home with me! Great communication with owner. The bed was a bit stiff, just bring some extra pillows and blankets if you like softer bedding like me! Kitchen had everything you’d need to cook in. Would definitely stay here again!
This little cottage was even more charming than the photos. Kitchen well stocked with all the utensils, dishes and cleaning products you would need to prepare meals. Loved having a laundry room and area to store our purchased items and hiking gear. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee every morning, either sitting on the front porch or side patio and greeting the neighbors and local deer. The location was perfect for walking to Main street of Manitou. Be aware it is a bit of a steep walk when heading back to the cottage after a day of shopping and dining but worth every step. We felt like locals and the friendliness of Manitou combined with the beautiful cottage made it very difficult to leave. We will be back. Thank you!
Cute little house close to all Manitou Springs has to offer.
We had a great stay at this property. The house is small but truly has everything that you need. Very clean, has a porch and a patio on the side of the house. Kids loved the cute swing on the porch. If you’re lucky you can see deers roaming on the street ( mornings). Kitchen is well equipped with plates, mugs, pots and pans, and a large refrigerator . The washer and dryer are very useful especially after a day-long hike. The outdoor table on the patio had room for 4 people. The pull out sofa in the living room is OK for smaller children. 3-4 minutes walking distance to the closest restaurant and ice cream. 15-20 min walking distance to the Cog Railway station.

Hi Lukasz! Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great stay and enjoyed the clean and well-equipped house, as well as the charming porch and patio. It's wonderful that your kids loved the swing, and spotting deer in the mornings must have been a delightful surprise. We appreciate your feedback on the pull-out sofa, and we'll take it into consideration. We hope to welcome you back soon for another enjoyable stay!
This quaint, well maintained, remodeled, one bed-room, one bath home just a few blocks from everything downtown is an absolutely excellent alternative to hotels or motels for a quiet, enjoyable, private vacation. It is well equipped for relaxing, cooking or whatever you may want to do if you choose to spend a day or evening at the home instead of venturing out; is a short driving distance to most sites or events you'll probably want to see; and walking distance to downtown shopping and dining - (LOL but be aware it is a nice uphill walk to get home if you are tired or had a little too much to drink).
A few things we would suggest to the owners especially for the colder or bad weather months (as we experienced when we first arrived) - the natural wood floors are beautiful - BUT, it would be NICE to have some type of rug, carpeting or non-slip surface by the back door until you can get your shoes off (we took the carpet mat from the back of my truck to use) when there is "ice and snow"!!
With the "back or side door / porch" being the main entrance - it would be nice to have (and a great liability coverage) a handrail by the steps or stairs especially with the "ice and snow" like we had on our arrival. We ended up "using the pipe" - which is a natural gas pipe to avoid falling that first night and second day until we had the ice under control. They should also have a snow shovel available - we went to Walmart to get one to clear the walk.

Hi there!
It sounds like you had a pleasant stay overall, enjoying the home's convenient location and its amenities. Your feedback about potential improvements for colder weather is valuable. Safety during icy conditions is essential, and having a rug or non-slip surface by the door and a handrail for the stairs could indeed enhance guests' experience. Snow shovels for such weather situations would also be beneficial and convenient. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I hope these suggestions can be considered for future guests' comfort and safety.
Awesome place. Super clean and comfortable. Very walkable to all the Manitoui Springs restaurants and shops. Appreciated the A/C on a hot weekend. Very professionally managed and cared for. Would stay again if in the area.
