About this property
Viva San Diego - Enjoy the funnest neighborhood!
Viva San Diego was designed to be lively, colorful, and inviting, with its own California flavor. Lots of primary colors and fun patterns in the bedrooms and living area, plus new modern floors and design with lots of space for up to 8 people.
Viva San Diego is walking distance to lots of restaurants, breweries and breakfast places as well as the farmers market and only 3 miles to downtown. to get there you can easily jump on public transport or just Uber it! Its very quick to all the San Diego “must-sees” like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as the sun-drenched beaches that make us famous.
Stay in or head out; eat, drink and play in North Park or downtown in the Gaslamp; relax on the balcony, in front of the fireplace or enjoy the sweeping views. And most importantly - have fun! (And let me know how I can help.)
Bedrooms include 1 with a queen-size bed and the other one with a queen and a pull out twin (makes a king) . The big sofa sleeps 2 more (e.g. Kids) for up to 8 guests total - perfect for multi-family trips and couples getaways. You can pack light: there’s a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.
Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has an amazing view of North Park. Gather for a BBQ in the backyard (shared with the other two units) with a BBQ grill, outdoor seating, yard games. Or cook inside: the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked as completely as my own kitchen at home.
Other goodies at the apartment: Free WiFi throughout and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.
My neighborhood, North Park, is one of San Diego’s most historic and funky places to be. It's home to artists, local businesses, a Farmers Market, craft beer, wine bars, sushi spots, handmade ice cream, and your pick of brunch options. Guests love North Park’s neighborhood vibe, even though it’s just 3 miles from downtown and The Gaslamp. Century-old architecture and the ringing of church bells during the day in North Park add to its historic feel. And my house fits right in!
No need to worry about a car. You have your pick of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques just a few blocks away. Easy public transport is just around the corner, taking you to downtown and all places San Diego. Uber rides are quick and convenient, too, getting you into downtown in less than 5 minutes.
You will have this entire apartment and its balcony to yourself. The backyard is shared with the other two units in the building.
I'm just a e-mail, text message, or call away! I can guide you through the check-in process, as well as answer any questions you have while you’re here. San Diego is my favorite city in the world, and I live for helping guests discover why I love it so much.
NOTE: North Park is a residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for parties. Small and quiet gatherings are fine; just be sure to let me know in advance if you plan to invite guests who are not included in your reservation and keep the noise down at all times. Security cameras - and our friends/neighbors - will alert us to unauthorized visitors.
