This is a perfect lake vacation property. It is conveniently located to Meredith. The deck was great for watching sun rises and sunsets. Mark was wonderful to work with. Could not ask for anything better .
Our family had a great time at the Lake house. Mark was a wonderful host. The house had everything you could think of. The views and location of this property are amazing!
We rented a pontoon boat and had plenty of room at the boat dock.
Sat on the boat dock every morning with coffee and even ate most of our dinners on the dock.
Great vacation!
.. and the Lake was spectacular at times during our week in the very late Summer, early Fall. Mark's a good host, leaving us be, and the house was comfortable and well equipped, warm in the cool weather, and airy in the warm weather.
Mark’s house was the perfect spot for my family’s vacation. The house is incredibly well equipped with pots, pans, and dinner-ware for a large family and lots of linens and towels. He has also very generously provided a couple of kayaks and SUPs for renters’ use and the large dock easily accommodated our pontoon boat. The location at the end of Meredith neck was very quiet, yet close enough to Meredith for convenient shopping. In summary, Mark’s place was a real slice of paradise and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!
This end of the lake is great location for kayaking and paddle boarding with interesting islands and coves to explore. There’s a beautiful view off the deck where we ate many of our meals. Toasting marshmallows under the stars was a perfect ending to each day. House was well equipped and Mark was very welcoming and helpful with any requests.
The property was perfect for my family including young children. Access to the lake was clean and safe for my toddler grandchild. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and were able to pull up to the dock on the property. We used the kayaks and paddle boards every day. Plenty of life jackets. Location was quiet with easy access to town. Nice walking areas. The property was clean and very well stocked with supplies and amenities. We would definitely rent this house again.
We just returned from a nearly two week stay with our young kids. This location is fantastic. Breathtaking view with small beach perfect for kids and a great dock for a boat and fishing off of. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly as is the cove the house sits on. The house had everything we could need to enjoy our stay - towels, life vests, grill, basketball hoop and ball, etc. Mark was a lovely host who made sure everything was available to us and quickly addressed any issue we might have encountered. Our family had a great vacation here!
Our group had a wonderful summer vacation! With 3 couples, 2 kids and a pup we had more space than we needed! The house was clean, comfortable and the perfect location. The outside space was perfect and we loved being able to use the kayaks and paddle boards! Mark is so nice and was so great to work with!
We had a great time here! The home was well stocked with all the necessities. There were many water toys to enjoy. Being on a cove was great, so there wasn't a lot of boat traffic going by. We spent all day on/in the water, and every evening on the porch overlooking the lake and mountains. This is a great home for families, including those with young children. We were fortunate to rent a pontoon boat for the week, which we do recommend, if you're able.
Great view, comfortable and cozy home, friendly neighbors and the most helpful host I've had the pleasure of meeting...couldn't ask for more!
We have been staying around the lake for years and this is one of the best spots yet
Thanks again Mark and Kay for sharing your home with us
We had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as explained. Mark was super helpful. The location is great, close to town and right on the lake. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks.
We loved Mark and Kay's home, it's right on the water as listed - perfect for the kids to walk right in from the sand, and the boat dock was large and convenient. Short walk to the private beach from this dead end street, and just a 3 mile drive to the public boat launch. This property was great for our family with 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, large kitchen and family room that lead to the deck, where we could watch the kids play in the yard or float in the water. Boating in Meredith was great; close to town and plenty of sandy areas to pull off to anchor and take a dip. Mark was easy to work with and available when needed. We'd definitely recommend this property to other renters, and hope to return next year.

We started to work with VRBO in the 2000 time period with two very desirable properties, they could not do more for the renters and the owners. Fees were very reasonable. Those days are gone. As VRBO was purchased by Home Away and then by Expedia the customer service features of the company disintegrated, while they piled on the fees to owners and to renters. If you get through the maze the owners will help you all that they can.
