The Space:

A three bedroom two story town home at Legacy Villas in one of the community's best locations. Sitting on the back patio, you wouldn't know you had a neighbor. Enjoy direct mountain views and the serenity of desert living. The functional living space has a spacious living/dining room with a sectional sofa, flat screen TV and a dining table seating six. The kitchen opens to the great room and has every major appliance including a gas range/oven. The master bedroom sits just off the living area. It has a king bed, flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, soaking tub, shower and toilet. The private back patio can be accessed from the living room or through french doors in the master bedroom. It has a outdoor dining table and electric grill. The second downstairs bedroom also has a king bed and en-suite bathroom. The upstairs suite provides a third private sleeping option. It is a perfect spot for kids or a second couple sharing the property. With a queen bed and a full/twin bunk bed, it can sleep up to four. The diversity in sleeping options makes the town home the perfect option for a variety of guests. The town home also has a full laundry room and attached two car garage. A satellite community pool and spa is located directly behind the property and the primary kids pool, lap pool, clubhouse and fitness center are a five minute walk.

The vacation villa is located at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Legacy Villas is a community of 280 resort condominiums and townhomes. The community is nestled in a mountain cove on the western side of La Quinta with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate mountains throughout the property. Enjoy 12 saltwater pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and a community clubhouse and barbeque. Legacy Villas is a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The community is a 5-10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and only a short drive from Old Town La Quinta, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the Indio Polo Grounds and numerous other desert attractions.

Really enjoyed the time there despite the Covid-19 epidemic. Very mellow days with not much to do. The property had old DVDs which made the time go by nicely!

I have booked with your company many times throughout the years. We have stayed in this unit before and we really like it. I will say though that this time the property was not as clean as it was before. You can tell this condo has been used. The pots and pans were very dirty, there were marks on the walls, stains on the floors. The rear door wouldnt stay shut unless you locked it and then people would get locked out. Im sure we will keep booking with you as I have for a long time now I just hope the quality doesnt continue to fall on LV 305 because we really like that one.

The unit is in decent shape. Location is excellent. Dog friendly unit. Dog walking trail is directly out the back. Pool and hot tub are directly next door which is convenient. Very pleased overall.

Perfectly spacious townhome. Comfy beds. Comfy couches. Kitchen has all the necessary essentials. Best surprise was finding the little dirt pathway that goes around the perimeter. Was perfect for walking the dog. So many pools to choose from. Beautiful landscaping. Very quiet surroundings. Staff were friendly. Loved it.

Well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet location close to the main pool area. Ample supply of towels and paper goods (tissues, toilet paper). For those planning on cooking you'll need to bring all the basics like salt, pepper etc .. coffee for the first morning is supplied as well as creamer and sweetener. Not many pots and pans so don't plan on cooking for a large family. Nice little electric BBQ, came in handy:). AC works great and unlike in other home we rented in Legacy is pretty quiet. Kids loved the upstairs bedroom. Recommend the agency request the cleaners move the large couch to clean and remove what's under it, there is some mold growing in the master shower and that needs attention before it gets out of control. It was my first time renting the 2 story unit, I mostly like to rent the one story models but this unit has more space and is very user friendly while allowing privacy if 2 couples and kids are staying in it. What is really great is each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a half bath in the entry hall. Overall I recommend this rental and would not hesitate to reserve again.

Overall positive experience but initial problem

It was easy to make the online reservation a few days before the trip and we quickly received the confirmation with our check-in information. We encountered a major problem when we arrived at the entrance to the gated community and the security guard would not allow us to enter because she did not have our name at the gate. The security guard was extremely rude and unhelpful as I realized this property management company is not located on site to help. I had no other choice but to call their (800) number for assistance but I kept reaching a recording as there was no live person answering. Fortunately I found another number to text and got a text response back. They quickly called the security gate and we were eventually allowed to enter the community. Once we arrived at our rental unit, everything in the place and location was great as advertised. Even though our trip started off on the wrong foot, I would probably rent this property again but make sure my name is definitely at the front gate ahead of time. It would also be helpful to be given the code to the pool area before our arrival.

La Quinta Legacy Villas are always wonderful!

I've stayed at many of these units. I chose this unit for this trip due to the upstairs bedroom configuration being able to host 4 children in 4 beds in one room! This unit needs some TLC. The upstairs bedroom has no screen on the window, making it dangerous for children to be in that room. The leather dining room chairs are ripped, as is the outside furniture. The master bathroom had soap grime on the item they use to hold the toiletries. All things considered, these are small things, but worth attending to!

We can’t wait to go back.My only complaints would be that the carpet in the 3rd bedroom upstairs needs to be cleaned, the screen was off on one of the windows upstairs, there were 2 chairs at the kitchen table that the leather was ripped, and one chair in the patio, the material had split as well probably from the heat.

Unfortunately the air conditioner did not cool all day Saturday, but the property manager was able to send someone out Saturday evening to repair it. It still took most of the night to cool down, but the response and actions of the property manager was appreciated. We absolutely loved the location of the town home since it was so close to one of the pools and the mountain view was majestic while enjoying a cup of coffee on the back patio. I am hopeful we will be able to enjoy this location once again in the future.
