Great location, very private and quiet, wonderful view. Excellent cooking facilities. Exceptionally clean. Not too far from Georgian Bay and Collingwood. Enjoyed playing ping pong and then soaking in the hot tub.
This property is immaculately maintained and its location and view are fantastic. Lots of hiking and cider houses close by . Our group takes food seriously and cooked anazing meals in tbe kitchen . The hot tub lets you soak in the great view!
The property is spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. The views are stunning and we saw deer outside our window in the mornings. It was very close to the Bruce Trail where we were hiking for the week. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax at the end of each hike! We plan to stay here again.
Check-in and communication was amazing. We loved waking up in the morning to the amazing view across the valley. The house was spotless. I would definitely recommend!
Lovely spot, beautiful views, Even though the weather didn’t cooperate there was still things to do in the area. Lots of nice hiking trails. Lots of space in the house, people could go off and chill by themselves if wanted a quiet spot. Disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub. Water colour looked yellowish, didn’t think we use get in it.
The property was as beautiful and complete as the listing describes. Communication and check-in were great. There was plenty of comfortable space indoors and out for all ages in our 3-generation group of 5 adults and 5 youths and kids to visit, play, eat, cook and sleep. The views of the fall colours were spectacular. We loved seeing the full moon rise over the hills in the evening and several deer passing through the property throughout our stay. A great trip!
We really enjoyed our stay on this property! The overall feel is very impressive, with stunning nature to view out of every big window. The cottage came stocked with everything we needed in more- appliances, linens, and paper products. We loved that we could spread out for sleeping over three different levels. It was a bit windy for us to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and that area was very overgrown, but it looked amazing! I wish we had another day to stay and enjoy the property. We loved watching the hawks soar in the sky and even got to watch wild turkeys walk up the laneway. Too cool!
Lovers of nature and everything outdoors. Our family spends every minute we can enjoying nature whether it's camping, canoeing, hiking, skiing or snow shoeing. We enjoy every day we get to spend up in Beaver Valley and know our guests will as well.
Why they chose this property
What drew us to Beaver Valley was the access to one of the most beautiful parts of the province and it's abundance of nature and activities. Deer, wild turkeys, hawks, owls and other animals are often seen on the property. This is a one of a kind property in the area with beautifully maintained landscape and gardens perched on the face of the Niagara Escarpment.
