We loved our stay in forksville. The house was immaculate and fully stocked. The property was beautiful and made for lots of fun for the kids to explore. They loved looking for frogs and fishing in the pond. The fire pit made for great evenings and lots of smores. Overall a fantastic trip and would advise anyone looking to book this house to absolutely do so!

Wonderful getaway

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was perfect. We had our family of four along with extended family join us for a few nights as well. We love that it is secluded, spacious, and well appointed. When we weren't exploring World's End or other local areas we had plenty of space inside and out to relax and enjoy family time. The kids got to catch some fish in the pond, and I liked being able to have a convenient hiking trail for a quick walk around the pond. The piano is a really nice touch as well. Overall we love it there. The owner is very responsive as well. We hope to be back again next year!

Fantastic home in the Endless Mountains

This was our second time staying at this home, and the first time bringing my young children (11 and 8). We absolutely love the property, the home is stunning and it sits on such a beautiful piece of land. The home was exceptionally clean and my son loved that there was a piano there where he could play his music. The new fire pit is absolutely amazing, we lit fires each night even though it got pretty cold outside. It’s the only home to rent if you want to stay in this part of Sullivan County. We will absolutely be back again.

Wonderful getaway

The property was excellent and perfect for our family summer getaway. Everything was clean and well appointed. There was plenty of room for three families to enjoy the space. We enjoyed taking the walking path around the pond. The property is remote and private. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher, but the owner was extremely responsive. He had someone come out the same day and got it taken care of. We also enjoyed the fire pit outside, and the piano was a nice touch as well! We definitely hope to be back for more family vacations in the future.

Perfect destination

Stayed at this property, 6 adults and 1 child, and everyone loved it! It was nicely secluded but very close to Worlds End State Park and other sites. The property was stunning and immaculate and very well stocked (we made lots of big breakfasts and dinners) and had everything we needed for prep. Wi-Fi wasn’t too bad inside the house, my friends that had AT&T always had reception. There was a lot of wildlife to see…we were obsessed with watching the beavers. The caretaker of the property was accommodating, when we needed something he assisted us immediately. The guest contacts were very helpful as well and made everything about the process go so smoothly. Just the perfect house in the perfect location to enjoy nature and find quiet and relax. We all want to stay again, we hope to make it a yearly visit!

Hidden gem

The pictures do not do this property justice. This house and grounds are beautiful. The lake was full of flowering lilies. It couldn’t be more picturesque. The house was beautiful, spotless and the most well stocked rental we have ever seen. The owners attention to detail was over the top. Any issues were immediately answered by the property manager that were in constant communication. We’ve already scheduled our next stay. Some pointers that will be helpful for future guests 1) google maps and GPS location for this property are incorrect. The owner/property MGR will provide more details. 2) The entire area has little to no cell coverage for miles (AT&T had the best service) . This will make it difficult to communicate to incoming guest if you are meeting at the house. Your cell phone gps may not be adequate for the area. Love, love, love this property

Large house in secluded location

The communication from the owners was wonderful from booking and during out stay. There was immediate communication and expectations set before our arrival which made us feel more prepared ahead of time. The house was large enough to accommodate our party, though the Bunk Bed room is very tight, so it isn't the best options if you have a lot of adults. Better if children are in attendance to occupy the bunk bed rooms!The house was equipped with enough supplies, towels, toiletries, pots/pans/dishes and other cooking items. I do suggest grocery shopping ahead of time as this is in a very secluded location! It was nice to have our food available without having to go out.I would say that the house could have been a bit cleaner. There were dead bugs on the ground in the bedrooms and there seemed to have been an ant problem. I understand being in the country, you are bound to have bugs, but an active ant problem (crawling on walls etc) can be mitigated with frequent bug spraying on a quarterly basis. We did also have an issue with the oven not working (this was not the owners fault) that could not be fixed during our stay. It made cooking a bit frustrating with a constant beeping noise and needing to pivot and use the grill. There was also a ton of air freshener in the bathrooms, so if your sensitive to smells - unplug them all!If you are looking for a spacious house in a quiet, secluded, area then this place is the perfect option! great for children and outdoor nature hikes. if you have a lot of adults - i'd reconsider or be sure to know the sleeping arrangements!Thank you for a nice stay!
