Hi Mark,
We are delighted that your family has enjoyed a second new year's time of peaceful rest at the Farm.
We hope you enjoyed the living room, the warmth of its pellet stove and the comfort of meals prepared with family in the midst of a cold and snowy PA winter.
Outside, perhaps you had the opportunity for snow ball fights, sledding, toboganning, or cross country skining around the Farm. Inside, perhaps you enjoyed a good book and found time to rest, sleep and recover from a demanding 2025.
All of us nuturing the multigenerational blessing of Whispering Willows Farm thank you for choosing to stay with us and we wish you and your family a blessed and bountiful 2026.
Property was perfect for our group. Interior kitchen, living area, and bedrooms were nice. View from the deck was great for sunset. We used the grill and fire pit. Very clean and check in and out was easy. We had a great stay.
Beautiful view of the pond, was very relaxing to sit in front of the window and watch the sunset. Wonderful updated kitchen. Overall a great place to stay! The only thing we found a little tough to navigate was that since the fire pit is only a few feet from the pond and built into the hillside, it made it difficult to fit multiple people around it.
Our stay at Whispering Willows Farm was a very relaxing stay for our family. From walking around the scenic property, to fishing in the pond, my son spent many hours catching bass there. My wife took relaxing walks each morning around the property to start her day and I would just have my coffee by the window, overlooking the pond and beautiful scenery, doesn’t get much better than that. The property itself was huge, clean, modern kitchen, and stocked with amenities. The hosts really do take care of you, thank you for a great time and my family can’t wait for our next visit!

Brian, we are so glad to know the Farm was a place of relaxation for you and yours after enjoying a day of hiking. Since its founding in the 1800s, the Farm has provided the challenge of effort, and the comfort of solitude and contemplation for both owners and visitors like. We are happy to have you as our guests and hope to have you visit with us again in the near future.
The property was even more beautiful than we imagined! Just sitting on the porch in the evenings listening to the wildlife gave us such a sense of peace and relaxation. The house itself was gorgeous and seemed to never end! The owner was very easy to reach and answered all of our questions. We hope to return in the future.
We just recently stayed for 5 nights. The house and property were absolutely amazing. We had a mix of adults, kids & a baby and the house was perfect for all of us! We will absolutely be coming back to the whispering willow property again! Hoping to make it a yearly trip!!

Thank you for the kind words Mary. We are delighted you, your family and friends enjoyed Whispering Willows Farm. In the midst of a noisy world, we strive to make it a place of respite for our guests, and we are glad you found it to be a peaceful place to stay.
The pics and description do convey how perfect this property is for a mountain get away. This place is absolutely perfect for family/friends. Plenty of room for multiple families and located close enough to the town of Dushore. The kitchen is very big and comes with everything you need to prepare meals for a large(r) group. The sun sets over the pond every night and on a clear day you have a view for miles and miles of the valley. Check in was very easy the manager was always there to answer questions. We are already looking to book for next years July 4th vacation.
This house is simply amazing and lives up to every word in the description and then some. It could simply accommodate any group and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
We had a great time at the house! The property and The scenery was amazing! There were no neighbors, beautiful skies and you can hear all the birds and frogs singing away. The house has everything we needed. The pond wasn't huge, but good enough to jump in and swim. It's next to a state park that has boat rentals, hikes and beaches. Overall great experience.
We enjoyed the property so much. The house is beautiful and very clean. We loved the kitchen. It was fully stocked with everything (including spices). There is much room for relaxing. It was great to sit in front of the windows, enjoy the view of the lake and mountains, and read a book. We were in close proximity to Ricketts Glen and was able to enjoy a couple of hikes enjoying all the beautiful waterfalls. We had lots of laughs and fun and relaxation.

Audrey, it is so nice to hear that your adventurous group had such a relaxing time at Whispering Willows! It is truly our pleasure to provide our guests with a relaxing setting at the Farm. We hope to have you stay with us again. Frank
Fit all of our needs with 6 adults and three young children. Beautiful view over a pond, amazing sunsets and a wonderful walkway between hemlock trees. House was well stocked with essentials. Will go again a wonderful place to be away from it all, yet close to a small town.
Our stay at the farm was great. Check in was a little tricky but the host got it sorted out very fast. Everything else was perfect. We loved the view. The property. The updated kitchen and the master suite. We even had a family of bald eagles stopping by!! Just amazing.
Our family of four really enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July weekend. We were here for 4 days and three nights and loved every minute of it. Location of house was isolated and it's easy to feel like you're the only family around. House has a lot of personality and charm, and was very clean. Our children, ages two and seven, had plenty to do. Porch overlooking the pond has a view of the sunset which made it a great spot to relax outside and visit with friends.

Hi Kristopher,
It is great to know your family and friends found the rest, activities and solitude you wanted at Whispering Willows Farm. We look forward to having you stay with us again in the future.
We all are a group of photographers that enjoyed your property to the fullest. The Hemlock trail was gorgeous and inviting, as you enter the path you see all the beautiful colors of leaves and then you come across a stream of water. The sound of the water and the beautiful fall colors just put you in a tranquil state of mind. A lovely place. Thank you for the opportunity for opening your home for guest to enjoy.
This was an ideal place for a quiet family getaway. Situated in the picturesque Pennsylvania countryside, it is a short drive to some world-class state parks (Ricketts Glen, Worlds End). The property itself was a great base for exploring these wonders - we looked forward to returning to our "home on the farm" after a day of hiking the trails. The farmhouse has a wonderful rustic charm - while providing all the modern conveniences that made the stay very comfortable. We had everything we needed - a great open kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, comfortable bedrooms, and plenty of room to kick back and relax. We enjoyed the pond and scenery around the farm. Best of all was the Hemlock path - well worth the short walk. Frank and family were very helpful and responsive to any questions. Would highly recommend, and would be happy to return.

The Farm is certainly a great place for a quite family getaways, outdoor activities, and decompressing from the hustle of life. The much enjoyed Hemlock path and other walking paths will be expanded in late summer of 2021 just in time for enjoying the spectacular Fall colors and picture perfect sunsets. If a work-cation is in your future, the Farm is an excellent choice as there is plenty of free high speed internet for video streaming and VOIP phone calls, and inspiring vistas for those long-walk phone calls needed to work though collaborations with your colleagues, customers and co-workers.
The house is wonderful. The extraordinary harmony of modernity and antiquity creates an amazing atmosphere of fairy tale.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped with smart and functional equipment, perfectly combined with the exhibits of the past that are not ashamed to be displayed in a historical museum. But the point is that these are not exhibits, they are a fragment of this house, which were used by real people who lived in this house and made its history.
Nature around deserves separate words. Each element of the landscape so naturally flows into another, and all together they create a charming corner of nature that you can not get tired of watching.
Special thanks to Bob Jankowsky for his speed in solving minor problems and his communication skills, from the first minutes of staying in his house created a good mood for all the time staying at this wonderful house.
Thank you, Bob
Our family had an absolutely delightful time staying at Whispering Willows Farm! From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had chosen a special place for our retreat. The nearly two-century-old farmhouse radiates charm, surrounded by vast private acreage that beckons to be explored.
We spent hours sitting on the expansive porch, sipping hot cider and gazing out over the water, watching the wildlife. Deer, rabbits, and birds kept us company as we unwound from our busy lives.
The trails winding through the forests and streams were ideal for leisurely walks to enjoy the stunning natural scenery. One particular trail that captivated us was the Norwegian Pine Trail, an ode to the beauty that Sullivan County has to offer. The evenings at Whispering Willows were just as enchanting. Whether we were around a bonfire, roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky, or enjoying dinner al fresco with the picturesque sunset, every moment was memorable.
Inside, the farmhouse was a blend of comfort and history. The expansive living room, warmed by a pellet stove, was the perfect spot for family gatherings. Its numerous windows served as a constant reminder of the natural beauty surrounding us. The kitchen, truly an Epicurean delight, had everything we needed to make delicious meals, making our stay feel even more homey.
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect family vacation rental. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Whispering Willows Farm with us. We hope to return soon.

About the host
Hosted by Frank P. Jankowsky III
Whispering Willows Farm is owned and operated by Whispering Willows Properties, LLC. The company is owned and operated by four families that are direct descendants of family members who started the farm. We operate the magnificent place to preserve it for family and to share its beauty with our guests.
In 1953, when our parents moved from Brooklyn, New York, to the Endless Mountains of Sullivan County in northeastern Pennsylvania, Whispering Willows Farm was created. They raised five children here, and many more grandchildren spent their summers roasting marshmallows by the pond, frolicking in the creek, and running through the woods.
With much work, they developed the dairy farm adding cows, pigs, chickens, and other critters, expanding the milking, hay and grain barn, and upgrading farm machinery. The farm provided for the needs of the family with meat, milk, cheese, cream, vegetables and fruits.
While no longer an operating dairy farm, the property is still a beloved part of our family — and we want to share it with others when it’s not in use for family events. We are delighted to invite you to experience the cool summer breezes, legendary sunsets, spectacular fall foliage, and quiet winter days that we have all come to know and love.
We hope you will come to love it as much as we do!
