"Starfish Sands" is a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, two storey town house, very close to the Cowes beach and shops. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs you will find bedroom 3 (with TV and DVD player) and bedroom 4 (with access to the rear yard), a laundry in the foyer, the main bathroom (with bath, shower and toilet) and internal access to the garage.
Upstairs is the large open plan kitchen, dining/living room (with a 75 inch smart TV) which provides access to the upstairs front balcony. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are also upstairs, each with a BIR and another bathroom (with shower and toilet).
Outdoor Areas
There are outdoor tables and chairs on the upstairs balcony as well as in the downstairs enclosed yard. The double Garage (with internal access into the home and foldup table tennis table) provides space for 2 cars. The shared facilities available include a solar-heated in-ground pool and shady BBQ area, plus some additional communal parking spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has 2 x wall mounted reverse cycle A/C units - one in the upstairs living room and the other in the downstairs foyer. There’s also a ceiling fan in both of the upstairs bedrooms.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 11 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): 1 x Queen bed Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): 1 x Queen bed Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): 1 x Tri-bunk bed Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): 2 x Sets of Single bunks
Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.

Highly recommend this property for your next stay in Cowes
The property was very easy to access and in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The house was very spacious and clean, and it was great that we were able to have use of the washing machine and dryer and other appliances, as it made it easier for us all to have it available to us throughout our stay. There was plenty of things to do, especially for the adults, with access to games and WiFi. Highly recommend this property for your next family vacation in Cowes!
