Great Visit

Went away with some friends for a reading weekend and this was a perfect little spot. Lots of space, great nature around for a walk, and kept very clean. If we’re in the area, we will stay here again!

Great Location

Terrific house close to GNP West entrance. Everyone enjoyed the spaciousness and the well appointed kitchen. The location made a great spot for those early parking slots.

The house was very nice. The kitchen needs more lighting but we didn’t cook so it didn’t effect us much. The yard needs cleaned up a little but it was still a nice place to stay.

This property looked beautiful from the advertised pictures. Unfortunately, we were greeted by 7 foot tall weeds lining the entry way, the yard almost completely dead and ants in the master bedroom. The house itself was clean and inviting.

Home was in a beautiful, quite, location. Home layout and size was perfect for families or friends with a group of 6-8. Lots of pots and pans to cook with and great storage. Very comfortable and well decorated. Master bedroom and bath wereawesome!We had an issue with front door lock and a breaker tripping but the contact and local caretaker were prompt and kind with the help we needed. The only slightly negative critiques we have are that the lighting in the kitchen is not great. Very dark and hard to see in certain areas of kitchen, especially over stove and counters near the stove. The heating system was a learning curve as it is all electric heaters built into the walls. So hot in some areas and cool in others. However, the gas fireplace does a great job heating the main living room and kitchen area. All these critiques are minor and we would not hesitate to rent this home again!

Enjoyed rural property and well maintained home

This property is in a rural area approximately 15 miles from the town center. The interior of the property is very well maintained and appointed with everything that you will need for your stay. We were provided with soaps, paper products, and everything we needed for our stay, including some spices. We saw wildlife daily in the yard and around the neighborhood which we enjoyed. We did venture down to Blaine Lake, which is just up the road, but there is no public access of any kind. The one small drawback for us was the five security cameras all around the house’s exterior. There were two small exterior porches, but the cameras were located within 3 feet of the seats, and we didn’t feel there was any privacy regarding our conversations or movement around the property outside. I know the cameras were activated and monitoring because I have the same system at home. If you don’t mind that, this was an extremely nice home for your stay. There were guests in the other rental unit on this property, but that did not inconvenience or bother us and we exchanged hellos with those tenants.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience here during our trip to Kalispell and Whitefish! The hosts were very accommodating and made sure that the home was perfect for our needs.
