We enjoyed our stay at the cabin with a deck and the Shenandoah area! The screened in porch was an great place to enjoy the nature that surrounded the Cabin despite the weather and the rocking chairs on the front porch were a great place to relax at the end of a hike in good weather. The bed was comfortable and you had everything you needed to feel at home away from home.

We're so glad you enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer in the Shenandoah area! Sitting on the front deck having coffee in the rockers is my favorite way to start the day. We are glad you enjoyed the screened in porch as well. It does help when the rains come thru! The cabin was so warm and welcoming. It was clean, attractive, comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed and then some. The layout was nice with a bedroom and bath on each side for some extra privacy. Not only were our dogs welcomed, but there were little extras for them like bowls and treats. We enjoyed the deck and screened porch. The screened porch was a special treat during a brief thunder storm.

Little Lodge was a wonderful getaway -- exactly as listed. As noted the roads in and out require an AWD or 4WD vehicle but the directions were great and we had no trouble in our Subaru. Our family (along with the dog) was very comfortable. We enjoyed Luray caverns and New Market sites. Definitely hope to return again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved our stay at the Little Lodge! We were looking for a relaxing and cozy weekend filled with reading by the fire, wineries, and good food, and that’s exactly what we got! It was the perfect way to recharge, and the added bonus of being able to bring our pup along made the trip even better! Highly recommend staying here!

Property was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Definitely need a 4WD/AWD vehicle to get up the steep gravel road to the property. Highly recommend!

Little Lodge was great

The Little Lodge

The lodge was amazing, cute and cozy. We got to enjoy the fire pit outside. I wish that road up to the lodge was paved.
