Great location for Fall colors

We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the central location between Stowe and the White Mts. Close access to the Lamoille rail trail and Groton State Forest was nice. The cabin was quite comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The extensive supply of spices was impressive. We would certainly stay again.

We loved the cabin. It was extremely clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. Sheila is a great host and she’s thought of everything. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ, eating on the balcony every evening, and watching hundreds of birds right in front of us. We loved it here. We’ll definitely go back.

Vermont stay

It was a lovely home to relax in during the evenings. It was a cozy space with plenty of blankets to cuddle up with. We didn't get much time outside due to the weather but appreciated the area. Close enough to drive to town but removed enough to feel undisturbed.

Really enjoyed my stay in West Danville at a beautiful cabin with a nice open kitchen and dining area. Loved the large deck and the peaceful location for a few days around the July 4th holiday. At night, the porch was great for stargazing and it was amazing to see lots of fire flies.Easy check in/out and had everything I needed for a carefree stay.

Enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was convenient and the property was very nicely done and kept up. We appreciated all the amenities provided from toiletries to puzzles for our daughter. It was great that it was dog friendly as well. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy Relaxing Retreat

Great host personality. Smell of layers of baked on bacon grease in the oven was always noticeable. Otherwise clean. In a very cold, snowy December, the programmed radiant heat could not keep up. A shovel was available for us. When we contacted host, she always was apologetic.

So clean and cozy!

We had a wonderful extended weekend stay while we were up in the area for our annual family reunion! The cabin was so clean and cozy, and our dog was even quite comfortable staying in a strange place! Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it! We will definitely revisit in the future and have already recommended the cabin to other family members!

In 30 plus years of renting private homes, this was the worst experience ever. While there have been a few stays that have fallen short of our expectations, this reservation stands out as the worst experience when comparing the photos and created expectation to the actual property condition. We arrived in the dark and there were no lights on at the property. The front yard was filled with junk, including a dump trailer filled and the property was piled with garbage under the deck. There was no stairway to the front door but a weed ridden irregular stone pathway up to the porch that was unlit and nowhere near uniform or easy to navigate. If there were any mobility issues -(which there wasn't) it would have been dangerous -(no handrail) and that was without carrying luggage. Upon getting to the front door- we walked into cobwebs covering the door and that only got worse as we tried to navigate our way around the wraparound deck. Clearly, cleaning the property in advance of our arrival did not include the only real outdoor space on the property. There was no cell service and the Internet wasn't working. The owner was not there but seems to occupy a basement space which had no lock available on the guest/main house side to ensure guest privacy/safety. It was unsettling at a minimum. The porch had rotted wood and holes. Photos were altered (AI) - We would never have rented if real photos were used. We felt totally scammed. One night was all we could take.

This beautiful house was perfect for our stay. A great centralized location to Stowe, Waterbury, Burlington, Montpelier and other small towns. Shiela was great and answered any questions we had. The house was extremely clean. We will book again!!!
