Peaceful getaway

Our two weeks spent here were the best two weeks. Deb was attentive and her communication was so appreciated. She continuously checked in to make sure we had enough of everything. She greeted us with goodies for our kids and treats in the fridge. She treats her guests as family and we have loved coming here the past two years and cannot wait to come for years to come.

Long weekend in Maine

This was the perfect location to shuttle back and forth from my son’s rehearsal dinner, weddi g and reception. I even got a swim in their pool before the wedding! The owner turned on the AC’s before we arrived and had some nice food and beverages for us!. She checked in with us to make sure we settled in ok and to ask if we needed anything else. I. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was in a convenient location, clean, and the owner responded quickly to two issues when I checked in. These were a towel bar came off the wall on one side hanging a towel, and there was no blow dryer. The blow dryer was delivered later that evening and the towel bar was repaired the next day. There is a family who lives on the floor below the property who have a school age child and two dogs. The dogs were quiet. I could here conversation below and the doors slammed shut frequently which would cause wall hangings in the hallway to shake. The family was often in the yard, the child playing with the dogs. It is their home and yard. Walking down to the inlet is strictly prohibited as it is a neighbor's private property and they do not want trespassing. It was not a peaceful or private respite but it suited my needs for a place to make a quick meal, shower and sleep.

Nice location

The house was clean and nice. Just a heads up Owners daughter, boyfriend and grandson lives down stairs with a dog. If you can’t handle doors slamming, dog barking and loud cars this isn’t a good place for you. The views from the house was great. Not to far from Brunswick and Bath.

From the Owner: The house is immaculately clean and super well appointed with new furnishings including a huge smart tv. The wind was from the North and caught the front door which is why it slammed. The folks that live downstairs work full time and are gone most of the time. They are careful about noise and guest privacy. Even hotels have occasional neighbor noises. We provided a beautiful home with gorgeous views, clean, comfortable, and safe, and was well appointed with every convenience. I even provided welcome gifts and breakfast & dessert surprises for all concerned.
