Two-Bedroom Maine Coastal Waterfront Cottage / optional kayak rental

This sweet 3-season, 2-bedroom tidal waterfront cottage is perfect for hours of relaxing or as a base for excursions to the many attractions in Mid-Coast Maine. The living room boasts large windows, offering a lovely view of the tidal cove. A spiral staircase leads to the second-floor bedroom with a queen bed. This room features a high ceiling and windows on all sides, making it bright and airy. The main-floor bedroom has 2 twin beds. Between this bedroom and the living room are the bathroom with shower, and a cozy reading nook. On one side, there is a stone patio with table/chairs/umbrella, on the other a small deck with gas grill. The eat-in kitchen (renovated 2020) is well equipped and has its own view of the cove.

Walk steps to swim, watch the tides, or see resident osprey and occasional bald eagles. Explore the cove and Winnegance Bay by kayak (available from owner for extra fee & signed waiver).

10 minutes to Bath, one of Maine's "Top Ten Towns to Visit" - Maine Maritime Museum, restaurants, shopping, river cruises, farmer's market, antiques.
20 minutes to Brunswick - Bowdoin College, museums, shopping, restaurants.
20 minutes to Popham Beach State Park, Small Point beach, Nature Conservancy Morse's Mountain sanctuary and beach, historic forts.
30 minutes to Reid State Park.
40 minutes to LL Bean and outlet shopping in Freeport.

Another Great Stay at Brigham's Cove

Our second year visit to this wonderful cottage at Brigham's Cove, where the kayaking and wildlife sightings are excellent and the location near Popham and Reid's Beaches, Bath and Brunswick makes it easy to pack your days. Very well appointed kitchen and comfortable rooms.

Such a wonderful escape from busy city work life! The cottage view of the cove is beautiful and soothing! The cottage is clean, comfortable and stocked with all the comforts of home - every kitchen tool & gadget you could dream of is here. Daily kayaking included and nature walks from the cottage door showed us bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons, seals and many deer and other birds. This is truly a nature lovers paradise!

Can’t say enough positive things about the hosts and the cottage. A beautiful place to spend a quiet week - we loved the cottage, swimming and kayaking from the Point, and watching the tides come in and out. Communication was amazing.

Great getaway!

We loved this place. It had everything we needed. Watching the tide go in and out was so peaceful. The upstairs bedroom felt like sleeping in the trees! The location was great-close to everywhere we went.

We had a wonderful week on Brigham's Cove. The house was in a great location--only about 10 minutes from Bath and about 20 from Popham Beach. We enjoyed kayaking in the Cove, going to beaches, visiting Fort Popham, taking the ferry to Monhegan Island, and taking a lighthouse cruise from the Maine Maritime Museum. The house was clean and well equipped. Deb and Jamie were very helpful as well. Lots of wildlife watching right from the living room. I highly recommend visiting this very special place!

Relaxing Retreat!

We had a wonderful stay in this clean, cozy, quiet, well-equipped cottage. We had excellent communication from the owner throughout. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and viewing all the surrounding wildlife. Beautiful beaches/ponds and excellent dining options all within around a 20 minute drive.

Peaceful Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint Maine Cottage. It was easy to find but yet hidden away. The view was breathing taking and so serene. The fresh air, and being able to enjoy the nature and change in autumn colors were all so calming and peaceful. We thoroughly savored our time here.

Great Cottage on Brighams Cove

This was the perfect little cottage for our family to stay in while visiting friends and family in West Bath. We are very familiar with the area and chose this place based on the location. The cottage was well appointed and very cozy. Deb was VERY understanding and accommodating when our trip was delayed by canceled flights due to a hurricane. We would highly recommend this place and will likely rent again if available.

Deb and Jamie's house was lovely! Beautiful fully-equipped house nestled in the woods overlooking the water. It was very peaceful and quiet. The house is in a great location for accessing a number of different activities like spending time at the beach, kayaking, sailing, hiking, and wandering through cute little Maine towns. Everything was exactly as described in the photos and listing. Deb and Jamie were also very responsive to questions. I'd definitely stay here again.
