Long weekend wedding

A group of us stayed here for the Canada Day long weekend for our friends wedding. The cabin was awesome and everything we could have asked for! Lots of space for us inside, close to many beaches. We would all love to come back!

Family Adventure in PEI

Our family that included 2 teenage boys and our doodle thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Scully’s. The amenities met all our needs and it was a great location to travel to other areas on the beautiful island. The neighbourhood was quiet and we enjoyed walks with our dog. No complaints. the cottage was fine, lights in the kitchen need to be brighter but a beautiful place. wish we had have been told that a lot of places closed for the season, but I guess it was a good time.

Quiet, Comfortable and Relaxing

My wife and I stayed at the Scully Seaside Cottage for a week and enjoyed ourselves. Centrally located to many of the main attractions on PEI, it served as an excellent location for our stay. David was great to work with and very responsive in assisting us in resolving some initial challenges with getting the TV to work. One thing to note is that you have to spread out showers/laundry, etc because it appears that the hot water heater has limited capacity. We were able to work around that with minimal issues. Overall, a great stay, we hope to return, and recommend it to others.

Scully’s Seaside Cottage

Scully’s Seaside Cottage is our favorite place on PEI for our staycation! We have stayed at this cottage for a number of summers now. It is the perfect location for a relaxing vacation near the water and is equipped with all the amenities to make us feel right at home. It is the perfect place to take in the local attractions, beaches and restaurants -or simply just relax in this beautiful location! Not only do we feel right at home here, our pup (Rio) quickly settles in. As we have stayed here a few times with him, I’m pretty sure he thinks this is his summer home! This dog friendly cottage has proven to be a perfect fir for our Rio -he loves the large yard, fenced in large deck (amazing -we love it too) and daily walks through the community and by the water! This cottage has everything we need to relax and enjoy some great outdoor time with our pup. The host is super friendly, considerate (of both human and pet needs) and very easy to connect with. Our summers on PEI wouldn’t feel so complete without booking this cottage. Whether travelling with a family or your furbabies, would highly recommend Scully’s Seaside Cottage! Hi, I'm Dave, the owner of Scully's Seaside Cottage. The cottage is named after my best friend, Scully, the German Shepherd! While I now live on Vancouver Island, British Columbia (yet another beautiful Island - lucky me!), I am from PEI and all my family is still there. I try to get home as often as I can and enjoy everything PEI has to offer - it really is one of the best places to be in the summer. I can't wait to host you at the cottage - I know you'll have a fantastic time!

Why they chose this property

Scully's Seaside Cottage is not only an awesome place to spend the night, cook some amazing meals, and watch the sunset over the water, it's located in one of the best locations on all of Prince Edward Island. It's just steps from a fantastic beach (absolutely perfect for kids and dogs), and is just a couple of minutes drive from Cavendish - the ultimate tourist location on PEI. But even though it's so close, the cottage is in a rural area and is nice and peaceful all day and night. At the cottage, you'll be about as close as you can get to some of the best beaches in North America - no joke! The cottage has everything you need to make great meals - including a barbecue and a seafood boiler. Grab yourself some fresh local lobster and mussels, and boil them up on the large deck, overlooking the water. Pets are welcome at the cottage - after all, it's named after my German Shepherd, Scully!

What makes this property unique

The location of the cottage is absolutely perfect. Very close to tourist attractions, world-class beaches, and everything you could want for a fantastic summer vacation. Still, the cottage is in a nice quiet area, overlooking the water. Enjoy a bonfire with a sunset over the bay - it doesn't get much better.
