Wonderful, fully stocked cabin that has everything you would need. Plenty of pots and pans, plates, silverware, utensils, and all appliances a kitchen needs (full size drip coffee maker, toaster, Keurig, and propane grill on deck). Rooms were very spacious with plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs, and outside. There are some great games downstairs if weather isn’t all that great outdoors also. Fire pit below deck was wonderful with plenty of firewood. Would definitely recommend if looking to get away with family or friends and just relax in the mountains with all the conveniences of a modern home.
This cabin was spacious, well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was filled with antiques that made it special!!
From antique tractor parts....fishing gear...skiing equipment to the kitchen and baths dotted with tin Band-Aid containers and other toiletry and kitchen items of old -- the nostalgic decor was special!
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy, remote cabin. Once we were settled in, it was a great stay.
However, I must give a strong warning to anyone arriving during a winter storm-- even a Jeep Cherokee 4x4 CAN and will get stuck in the driveway at the curve. In whiteout conditions at night, driving cautiously, you may not have the speed to get through one area if you slow down. We contacted the owner the next morning after walking in the snow to the cabin about 9 pm with our food and suitcases in near zero temps -- the responses we got were disappointing. (I did not need to know his Cadillac sedan made it earlier that day --BEFORE the weather set in. We needed help. The drive really needed to be plowed again. Took over an hour the next morning to dig out the Jeep.).
Very cute and cozy house! Very welcoming - in every detail, from food supplies, wine.. to “stress relief” body lotions! Amazing design and furnishings! Real American history in every piece of decor! Interesting books! Very private and quiet property! Enjoyable!!! Thanks a lot!!
I stayed by myself at this fantastic place for a week of unplugging and relaxation. It’s secluded but not isolated. It’s far enough away from town to not feel pressured to do things but close enough to hikes, rivers and mountains that you have plenty to do if you venture out. The place was cozy and relaxing, was very clean, well decorated and had everything you need (and then some). There is a decent sized desk for those that want to work while relaxing (something MANY places lack) and would be a good temporary office. The media/game room downstairs was super-cozy and made evening times very enjoyable.
Fantastic overall and HIGHLY recommended. I’ll definitely be back!

Heaven in the Mountains
We were visiting from Virginia and vacationing with family who live in Colorado...what an amazing place! Every single detail and decoration gave us sweet mountain vibes and we had such a great time just hanging out on the comfortable couches, having drinks on the deck or cooking a family dinner in the fully-stocked kitchen. Having amenities on site like washer/dryer, games, fire pit was unexpected and made the experience all the more enjoyable. We will certainly be making a trip here as a new annual family tradition!

Stunning home, true Colorado mountain experience
This is an absolutley stunning home and property. The home is obviously professionally decorated in mountain lodge style and in pristine condition with the highest quality furnishings. My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay since the property is in the woods and very private which was peaceful, relaxing and truly an idyllic Colorado mountain retreat experience. While the setting is remote, it was just a short drive to the small mountain towns nearby for groceries, local eateries and pubs. It is also an easy 40 min drive to Breckenridge. This home is a gem! We look forward to going back again in the future.
