Beautiful location however cottage itself needs repair. Seems to be very neglected right from pulling in driveway to see overgrown shrubs and weeds. Many repairs needed inside . The bathrooms specifically are in desperate need of upgrading and repair. The musty smell is overwhelming as soon as you open the door. The host wants windows closed which is impossible considering the smell. Gorgeous views from the back deck however not safe to sit on the Adirondack chairs on the dock.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to provide some clarification for future guests. During your stay, we contacted you to make sure everything was going well, and you let us know that everything was fine. We always encourage guests to let us know about any concerns during their stay so that we have the opportunity to help and address them promptly. Regarding the windows and doors, we only ask that they remain closed while the air conditioning is running. This is to allow the AC to work efficiently and keep the cottage comfortable. As the cottage is surrounded by nature, there are also many small animals around the property, so keeping doors closed helps prevent them from entering the cottage. We appreciate your positive comments about the beautiful location and views. We take guest feedback seriously and are continually working to maintain and improve the cottage and property.

The area was great. We enjoyed seeing swans, a blue heron and beautiful fox that visited early one morning. The area is great for canoes, kayaks and the peddle boats were fun. Linda was great to communicate with. The General store near by was so cute and the baking they sell is so yummy. The chip stand there has the best gravy. Great stay. Thank you
