The property had great views and easy access to the water. The dock allowed us to fish, crab, and launch kayaks. A large kitchen was open to the living area, making a great place to cook and relax. Our kids loved the attic room with the twin beds and large play area. I would recommend this property for any multigenerational family who wants to spend a weekend at the Eastern Shore with close proximity to St. Michael’s.

Very relaxing house to stay in. Plenty of room and well stocked kitchen . Close to St. Michaels and Cambridge. We were there for the Eagleman triathlon and we really enjoyed the seclusion.

The property was in need of much delayed maintenance (I gave all to rental co). There was a pickup truck in grass in front yard and an old boat in the driveway as well as overgrown weeds everywhere. We saw a lot of old tools and junky empty old planters around the yard. When you walk into the property it smells old and musty, furniture is all old and faded from the sun. all of the blinds on the first floor are broken, there is no overhead lighting in the master bedroom nor a closet, the toilet was clogged 6 out of the 7 days we were there and we had to wait for 3 vendors - 3 days while there too. The screened porch was filled with antique wicker furniture that was ALL broken seats that have fallen through, and the screens are sliced and broken so full of mosquitos. The porch on the back has a top stair that is about 20" down and a fall hazard. We did not use the upper levels of the house, but everything up there is super old and musty too. The view is lovely and we enjoyed watching the boats go by. I would say that this is a very expensive rental that needs a lot of repair and improvements. I will say that Kirby, at the rental co, is very nice but I guess she is unable to do anything except report these things to the homeowners.

Terrific Property

I was all about having a killer water view, and this certainly has that. Entire house was beautiful, and very tastefully decorated. Would strongly recommend to any family.

Perfection

We had the best time. Perfect for our family. Went to a wedding in St Michaels and this was an oasis when we returned. Large rooms, amazing kitchen. The view is spectacular. Short drive to take the ferry to Oxford. Would definitely come back.

Our second year staying there. We really liked the place. There was a slight fruit fly problem in the kitchen. Also the upstairs master bath has a towel bar that won’t hold a towel. And the sink in that bathroom drains very slow. The toilets in that bathroom and the 1/2 bath tanks leak so they refill about every 30 minutes. These aren’t complaints just wanted you to know.

Family vacation

Wonderful stay at the house. The house was as advertised and had all necessary amenities. We had a blast together and didn’t have to worry about a thing with the house. I will note that the back steps that lead from the porch are very steep and elderly adult took a fall. A note on this or new steps would be great. The place was very clean. It is pet friendly so one room upstairs does have a ton of old stains. The main couch that looks out over the water is also very stained. But the location, kitchenware, bathrooms, etc. were all great.
