Welcome to Richmond Ridge!

The views are unmatched, and the living space is lovely! Spend your evenings enjoying the hot tub, by the firepit making smores, or on the deck taking in the magnificent views of the mountains. We can't wait to welcome you to Richmond Ridge, which sits at the 4,200 foot elevation level. At this altitude you can expect nice crisp cool mornings and nights, with lots of sun for when you enjoy relaxing on the deck or lounging at the stone patio. This property require 4x4 or AWD.


This 2 bed/2.5 bath cabin is loaded with amenities. Comfy seating, a dine-in table, and a bar counter. The kitchen will suit your every need, from brand new appliances to the bean grinder and coffee maker (we've got a Keurig too). Floor-to-cathedral-ceiling and honeyed-oak planking adorn this room. The living room also has a large flat-screen TV and plenty of windows to enjoy the view.

This cabin even has a whole house generator for those unexpected power outages which can occasionally occur in the mountains.

Your pets are welcome! We've got 2 pet kennels for your convenience.

The house has the fastest internet available and both TVs are equipped with FireTV; you’re welcome to use some of our subscriptions to watch live sports or stream content. The house also has backpacks, tumblers, and charging cords for your use during your stay, and a Sonos bluetooth speaker!

Sometimes, we were inside a cloud, which was an altogether different experience (especially while sitting in the giant hot tub). The house was very spacious and brought a lot of the outside elements in. We’ll definitely be putting this on our list of favorite places to stay near the Smokies.

Can not beat the views! The entire back of the house had a spectacular view of the mountains. Its quite the trek up the mountain, so if you fogot something it will not be a quick trip to the store..We got what we were looking for, secluded and comfortable..We did not want to leave! Dogs allowed and the house was very pet friendly with extras for our fur baby..We definitely wil stay here again!

This cabin is a gem. The views were amazing. The cabin is excellent. 44 is definitely needed if there is snow or incredibly stormy. Otherwise, we didnt leave once we arrived. Once you arrive here and walk out on back deck, you will understand why we didn't. Read the guest book. They agree. We will be back.

Mountain Top Hot Tub

The views from this place were amazing both inside the house and especially from the hot tub! Between the views of the sunset and the stars at night, just breathtaking. Well worth the long drive up the side of the mountain! House was great, very pet friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Heavenly!

We enjoyed a long weekend, celebrating my husbands birthday. We took our dogs with us. You can tell the owners are dog people. Every little detail was thought of. The home is very clean. Everything you need to enjoy a mountain stay is here. The drive up the mountain is long and winding, but the view is so worth it! Simply breathtaking!

We rented this unit for the view, unfortunately the drive up the mountain was a bit more than we knew. Might want to update listing that it takes 30 minutes to get down the mountain. Beautiful view though. Just a lot more driving than we wanted.

Beautiful views from the porch, great floor plan, nicely furnished and the kitchen has all of the utensils needed to cook great meals. The master bedroom mattress if very comfortable. We used the hot tub every evening and enjoyed the great view.

Lovely secluded stay

My partner and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The appliances were all amazing, the hot tub was an incredible feature, comfiest beds ever, and the property boasts breathtaking views from every angle. If you have never drove in the mountains, don’t underestimate the roads, with that being said though even a Floridian like myself figured it out. It was a great time, I loved the seclusion but I also loved traveling around to neighboring towns and states. This home is equipped with all the necessities for your furry friends, big or small as well, which was super awesome. We only had one small breaker hiccup with the hot tub but the after hour staff were more than accommodating and the kindest people. Will be back! And I’ll bring my fur baby next time .
