We enjoyed our stay. We were able to check in early and leave late, which is always nice. It was quiet and the kids enjoyed miniature golf and the park.

natural retreat at its best
The home was the perfect balance of being amongst nature and yet minutes from a number of modern conveniences. Great view.
We spent the weekend in Hot Springs Village for a quick weekend Getaway to do some Crystal hunting. The house was perfect for our needs. Tucked away, peaceful and comfortable
Just a weekend get away to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Bird Watching
Very private and quiet except for the birds which we enjoyed hearing and watching. There is a bird feeder so if you enjoy sitting on the deck with your favorite beverage and seeing a variety of birds being some bird feed.Rooms are large and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The property is nice and secluded- great for us as my brother has a loud speaking voice. The house was in good shape.... please let the owner know that the tile in the master shower is damaged and coming away from the grouting.
House was clean with everything we needed. Had a great time off roading, mining for gems, playing golf, hiking and exploring downtown.

Hot Springs Cottage
We liked the convenience of our stay with all the events we were attending. Sat on the back patio watching the rain a couple of evenings. It's very private and tucked into the woods. Would stay again
This house was exactly as listed. Behind a gated community that was easy to get in and out of. Well stocked, including needed items such as extra trash bags and paper goods. The manger was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The neighborhood felt very safe and secure. Our favorite place to eat was Amore Pizzeria. Get their doubled crusted pizza, you won’t be sorry. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
This place was surrounded by beautiful nature and the customer service was excellent! They have a lovely front deck to enjoy meal amongst tall pines. The tall pines surround all sides of the home. The property is quaint, neat, and clean. I cannot say enough about the host and the property manager when it comes to excellent customer service, prompt response, and so forth. We had a stressful week and some mix-ups getting there for Memorial Day weekend, and they were completely helpful.
House was nice and clean for our stay. We had problems getting in with the key code (our fault) and mike was quick and responsive to help us.
House was clean, plenty of towels and linens. Location was nice and quiet.
There are two windows in both bathrooms with no coverings which was a little uncomfortable. But not really a huge deal, but would of liked a little more privacy in the bathroom.
Also if you don’t like a very firm bed I would suggest bringing a cheap mattress topper for the master bed.
Other than that we had a great stay.

Older property/nice area
We had no problem getting through the front gate, however, when I contacted the host to inquire about checking in 1 hour early, she wasn’t even able to locate our reservation. She was very kind though and she responded immediately and was very helpful.
The main issues I had with this property was the cleanliness and lack of window coverings. The towels were rolled and set on the counter for us, but they were all ripped and stained VERY BADLY. We looked through both bathrooms and couldn’t find one towel or washcloth that appeared to be clean. Also, in the master bathroom, there are 2 windows and neither of them have curtains. (One of the windows is actually in the shower). That was very uncomfortable. The main sliding door in the living room had no window covering either. There was an ashtray with cigarettes still in it. There was quite a bit of hair all throughout the bathroom. The floor rugs were flimsy and we tripped on them each time we walked over them. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee. Lastly. The dishes we pulled out to use were not clean.

Crystal, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: "We're very sorry to hear you experienced issues during your stay. We encourage guests to reach out to the property manager for any questions or concerns that they may have so we can address them quickly for a more comfortable stay. Their information is readily available in the on-site rental binder and through Evolve's pre-stay email.
-We're glad to hear our host was able to readily assist you with your reservation despite our calendar error. We have talked with Evolve to make sure this does not recur again.
-We understand that privacy is important to guests which is why we supply a curtain and rod in the closet. We apologize if you felt uneasy because of the lack of curtains. We've never received feedback like this before because the home is surrounded by vacant lots and the interior cannot be seen from the outside. In any case, our handbook on-site addresses the window coverings and where to locate them.
-Towels can be found in each bathroom's cabinet and this is noted in our welcome book. We offer two sets of towels for different uses, bath towels, and towels for everything else. We can assure you they are always cleaned.
-We use a professional cleaning company to ensure that the home is cleaned and sanitized between guests. The local contact does a walk-through of the home before arrivals and we are confident that the home met our high cleanliness standards before your check-in. Our cleaning company makes sure to take photos after each service to ensure our standards are being met."
We always work with our guests when issues arise, and we regret that we could not make things right during your stay. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent experiences.
The house was very clean, with all the necessary items available. Bed was quite comfortable. Checking in and out process was easy. Thank you to our Guest Contact, Ashley. Great communication before and after the visit. I certainly recommend this property if you're planning a visit to HSV!
The cottage was clean and prepared for our stay. We enjoyed the conveniences of home available to us. The ease of locating the property and entry. There were two situations that we want to share with you,
1. The two bathrooms had large windows with no curtains. We had to buy window extension rods from Walmart and cover the windows with bed sheets.
2. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the cottage and left our smart phones in the cottage. We could not remember the keypad code that was saved in our phones. We drove to the VRBO office and received a response from the staff person that the property we rented was not one of theirs. I told her I thought I rented through VRBO and asked if she had a recommendation for us. She did not show any concern for us at all. She said there is another property rental place down the road. It was almost 5:00 PM so we quickly drove the property rental place down the road from VRBO. The gentleman there said it was not one of his properties, but he would help us. He located the emergency phone number of the Evolve Team and called them on the phone for us. They confirmed we rented the cottage through VRBO and gave us the keypad entry code. If it had not been for this man and his kindness, my sister and I would probably have had to sleep in our car that evening. We were visiting Hot Springs. Please address this with the staff person at VRBO. I believe this happened on Wednesday afternoon at 4:45PM on October 12, 2022. Thank you, Veronica Larson
