The cottage was very comfortable and the area and the grounds are beautiful. The lake is wonderful, our dog enjoyed some swims. The place is remote and quiet but not far from things. We really enjoyed our stay.
What a beautiful , very quite spot with a large lawn area . The inside was great , AC , Large tv with Star link. The Lake was massive and beautiful. My Son , his dog Lucy ( Nova Scotia Duck Toller) and I have a great stay and would stay again. Everything was clean , the host was great and the kitchen had everything you need.
This was good value for an on the lake cottage, modern decor and style. It had everything we need. Was lovely to sit on the deck and enjoy the sun and trees. The lake is probably better for swimming before the wind picks up as the waves seem to come towards this shore but the water was nice and warm.Unfortunately we got hit by that massive gale/rain storm on last night but the house stood solid and safe :)

Had a great weekend and enjoyed the private beach area, BBQ and fire pit. Nice quiet and secluded spot, and worked well as a base to tour around Cape Breton during the day to see Louisbourg and whale watching.
We really enjoy this property. It sits on a beautiful (huge) lake and has amazing sunrises and sunsets. The cottage itself is very comfortable and privatr
The cabin is secluded as in you can’t see your neighbors and right on the water. Lake Ainslie is beautiful lake! The cabin is small but comfortable and well-stocked with everything you’d need. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and a nice shower with plenty of hot water. The owner responded quickly when I had a question. Overall very satisfied with our stay!
If you want to recharge or reset your mind with the bliss of solitude, this is the place for you. Amazing scenery, peaceful and quiet, nice and clean. All the comforts of home included, plus amenities within 20 minutes if restock is needed. We had an amazing week and will definitley be returning.
