Outstanding!!!!

I loved this beautiful and well-kept little house. It was thoughtfully designed, and Frank and Ludy are exceptional hosts. This was by far the best place i stayed on my trip (which included four different lodgings on two islands), and I highly recommend it. I will be returning someday and will stay here again. I loved it so much, I could see myself living there long-term :)

This was a neat place for us to stay; comfortable, clean, well supplied, close to what we enjoy about the north shore. At night, it was fun to hear nature sounds and the feel the breeze. We enjoyed our friendly hosts, which also made our time enjoyable.

Great Space!

We really enjoyed staying here. It is close to Hookipa Beach, Upcountry, Paia, hiking, and the Road to Hana. The place was clean and well stocked, and very comfortable. Reading on the patio, grilling, and feeling the breeze at night made our trip very relaxing, especially since we enjoy the North shore area. The owners were good, and made sure we were well taken care of. staying here made our trip very enjoyable!

Frank was an amazing host and we absolutely loved staying in his cozy studio! Even despite a rainy weekend, we enjoyed sitting on the covered patio and listening to the sounds of the rainforest. Because of the rain storm, some of our plans were cancelled and Frank was very accommodating and communicative with our change of plans. We loved all the thoughtful details of the space including snacks, wine, and beach items. We absolutely would come back to stay again!

The Kahili was a relaxing oasis & a great base for visiting sights on the North Shore! Everything was top notch, from the peaceful lanai to the well-stocked kitchen & bathroom to the comfortable bed. We enjoyed visiting with Frank & appreciated the fresh fruit he shared with us from his land.

Everything was comfortable and the place had anything we could possibly need for our stay. The location is perfect for exploring North & East Maui, Upcountry and the road to Hana. Our hosts were lovely and we will definitely be back if we can get back to Maui someday!

It's a good location to explore road to hana and Haleakala national Park. Hosts are good.. kitchen was well stocked:) beware of the dip in road when entering waikina loop if you have low clearance vehicle( or better just take the longer part of the loop)

Awesome property with great hosts

Our stay was super smooth. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed, including bottled water, snacks, and a bottle of wine. It was super clean and easy to get to. We stayed here because we had a wedding nearby so the location was convenient. Would stay again.

Maui Getaway

This place was great and our favorite place to stay on our vacation to Maui. The location is right at the start of the Road to Hana, and it feels less crowded than the tourist centers of Lahaina and Kihei. Frank (property owner), left fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities in the VRBO. He also ensured it was fully stocked with snacks, beverages, and even items like snorkle gear and beach chairs! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Cute Cottage

This is a very cute well stocked cottage located on property with owners house. Owner is very friendly and communicative. Make sure you have a car to get to town or sights. Owner supplied coffee, treats, drinking water and left a bottle of wine.

Perfect hideaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute hideaway. The suite was welcoming, incredibly well stocked, and everything we needed for our five days there. Frank was available if needed but we did not encounter any issues. Highly recommend if you are staying in the Haiku area or want to experience a different side of Maui.

Little haven away from home

I stayed here for 15 nights and had no issues whatsoever. From the generous hosting gifts, and the cozy bed, I had a terrific home away from home. This place has everything you need and is so conveniently located on the north side of Maui. Close to Paia and to Hookina beach. I love having home cooked meals and this kitchen has everything I needed to cook. I would stay here again and will recommend it to all my friends.

This location is amazing if you want peace, quiet, and privacy. The hosts, Frank and Ludy, are personable, warm, helpful, and kind. This is my favorite spot on Maui so far and I have stayed in several other places.At night, the forest frogs offer a symphony from the private patio. It’s magical.The place is clean and generously stocked with the essentials.Frank and Ludy are the best!I will definitely be back. Definitely coming back!

We absolutely loved this studio! It was so spacious and private. Surrounded by fruit trees. It had everything we needed from shampoo and conditioner to ketchup and mustard! Loved sitting outside on the patio while we ate and listened to the rain. It had a washer and dryer which was convenient. We will definitely be booking here again!

Solitude and Comfort in Haiku

This property is the best place we’ve stayed in recent years. It is in a quiet area with a stream running next to it for a peaceful sound. The furnishings are excellent and the host has set it up with a great selection of amenities and snacks. I’ve never stayed in a place with such care and useful kitchen utensils/cookware. This is an above 5 star property.

Amazing amazing a mazing. Beautiful home great location on road to Hana. Hosts are amazing. The stock of snacks, coffee, fruit and breakfast food was unexpected and welcomed. Bed was super comfy and lani with coffee in am listening to nature was so peachful.

Amazing Place to Stay

We just loved this studio. It was private and had a little patio area. Super clean and Frank is an awesome host! The studio is packed with snacks and water and toiletries and there was a cooler that we could use. Which was great while we went on and explored different parts of the island. It was close to a road that got you into town and on many adventures. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful tropical Kahili house

It is a wonderful studio house surrounded by greenery. Location is excellent for exploring the east side of Maui. We were amazed with all of the extra amenities upon check in. There was fresh fruit, bakery items, Keurig coffee maker, stocked pantry and everything needed for the kitchen. Everything is new and clean. There is a nice outdoor covered patio with a grill. The hosts were very personable and helpful. We highly recommend The Kahili cottage. You will not be disappointed.
