Check-in process was super easy. Area is pretty secluded but electricity, water, and heating/cooling all worked flawlessly, even the WiFi worked. Clean space and very spacious.
This was a perfect place to stay for my family. We enjoyed the quiet rural area close to the National Park. Lily was a very thoughtful host and we felt welcomed and at home at her place. We would definitely visit again. 😊
The location is kinda way out on a dirt gravel road. Very quiet with no one around. Saw some deer on the property. The only thing I would recommend is baking pans and a crockpot.

From the owner: "Dear guest, We are sorry that you had trouble finding baking pans; they are in the cabinet with oven mittens. We look forward to hosting you again."
We love staying here, super clean amenities were wonderful lots of storage in the kitchen and rooms . Too quiet for us , maybe we’re use to be in the city life but we love it ! I would recommend to put more lights outside specially in the back just to feel more comfortable it gets too dark . Also is a bit too far from Yosemite but we enjoy our stay !

Great bones but …
The house was a very good layout with superior beds, decent bathrooms, and a kitchen capable of serving six; however, the utensils needed to support a useful kitchen are inadequate. We struggled to feed two with what we had. We enjoyed the quiet isolation after very busy days in Yosemite NP.
Very spacious and clean property. Sweet and sincere property owner. Feels remote but not far from paved roads and town. Finding a rocky area with a small stream just down the street was an added bonus.
If you are looking for a peaceful location somewhat close to Yosemite, this home is worth considering.
Home is not far off the main highway and is close to nearby amentities i.e. grocery store, gas station, restaurants, etc.
Home was clean and had most of the amentities you will need. The only issue impacting our stay was the HVAC was off at the home upon arrival and it was 90°F+ inside. A little depressing since we had been motorcycle touring in 100°F+ weather all day. Made the first night less than stellar. Beds didnt meet everyones expectations but its hard to please everyone.
Otherwise, the home was a good base camp for exploring YNP. Given the opportunity in the area, we would certainly consider this home again.
We were so excited to stay at the Mariposa Mountain Retreat and it did not disappoint! It was so clean, adorable decor, clearly labeled and organized and extremely spacious! One of the best parts was laying on the patio at night star gazing and seeing shooting stars with the entire family! All three kids, 19, 16 and 8, along with my husband and me.
