Great home with modern amenities....hot tub was a nice touch and the grandkids had a great time with the games. We made use of the Trout Creek club...but know that the passes give you access but it costs 30 for day use.I highly recommend renting this place.

Beautiful cabin. We really enjoyed the amenities: grill, hot tub and PAC Man game. It got a bit hot during the day time with no AC in the house, but there were plenty of fans in the cabin, which helped keep us cool. The location is gorgeous as well! Just minutes away from really nice hiking area (Glacier Way Trail) which had really nice views of Donner Lake. Additionally the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, which made making meals very convenient.

Summertime visit (August) - Amazing view, very quiet, and a nice summer breeze with mountain aroma. Great spot for morning coffee.Cozy couch and chairs… dining room table was nice for family dinners. The stand up arcade game was fun… I played Galaga mostly, but it has a few to choose from. It got a little warm in the house during the high heat, but we just went to a lake and cooled off. Easy peasy.

Nice house and location. Enjoyed steam shower. Needs more cooking utensils, silverware for 8, more glasses - was sparse on housewear items which makes it challenging to cook and serve food - which we'd expect.

Hello Barbara and thanks for staying with us. Please give us a call or email us what you think the kitchen was missing or needs. Only a month ago, this entire home and kitchen met our TAP extensive inventory list, so we cannot imagine what you may be thinking the home needs in the kitchen. We feel it's stocked as well or better than the average persons daily residence. Our other 20+ rental homes that also met this same TAP Inventory have many reviews over the years explaining how well our kitchens are stocked. This house is beautiful, well stocked, clean and comfy. The location is great, close to Tahoe Donner ski area and Glacier Way Trailhead (for snowshoeing, xcountry ski & snow play). The view from the house is amazing. The house has garage parking and interior staircase to house which was transporting gear in snow. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time here. The cabin is beautiful and very nice. The view from the front is incredible. The cabin had all amenities needed. Only thing I would recommend is replacing the king bed in the master upstairs. It was not comfortable at all and we had a hard time sleeping. Other than that everything was perfect.

Perfect House

I can sleep on dirt but my wife is quite the opposite. Her quote was, “This is the best rental house we have ever stayed at”! It was really neat, clean and modern. It is up and out from town a little bit but I know the area and knew it when booking. It is 2 miles to Glacier Way trails which are super bike, dog, ski, eta friendly with amazing views. We liked morning coffee and an afternoon beer on the deck. We usually go out for dinner but stayed in every night, cooked in the kitchen, enjoyed the views and the comfy sofa while watching our streaming shows. PLENTY of communication on payments and check in / out info. I’d definitely book this place again and probably will for ski season.

We had a good stay at the home, and communication with the rental company was great. I wouldn't stay here again in the summer. The house really could use some upkeep. The stairs and deck had peeling paint all over them, and two plastic chairs with no shade are all you'll find outside. The stove fan looks like it has never been cleaned, the dining chairs are dirty and the mattress in the primary bedroom appears to be about 20 years old. The primary bathroom has very little light, and one of the "special" bulbs was burned out, with none that matched in the house to replace it. If these things were fixed, it would be a good place to stay. Gorgeous views!
