Quiet, private studio apt, screened porch, covered parking, garden sitting area!

Green Palm Cottage, #976905, is located on the property of our personal residence.
If you want a private getaway, this is the spot! Close to everything , but with the sense of being secluded on our lush, green, eye-catching piece of property. The cottage is set back 120 ft from the road, nestled at the end of our brick pavers driveway with parking under our pergola. Royal Palm trees, Coconuts & other tropical plantings enhance our lush landscaping.

Kitchenette with 18cuft fridge, all dishes, utensils, washer/dryer. No stove, but induction cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle, electric skillet;

Skip the extra luggage fees as we provide everything you need in the apartment! Beach towels, beach sheet, beach equipment, coolers, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Directv.

IMPORTANT: NO LIGHTED ANYTHING, CANDLES ALLOWED IN COTTAGE!!

Perfect Private Hideaway

Great private space for one or two people. Lush tropical foliage all around the beautifully restored property. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities you need. The owner met us when we arrived, told us about the property, then gave us our privacy for our long weekend vacation. We absolutely recommend this little place.

We loved our stay. Small but really great for 2 people. Cleo and Bucky were so nice and helpful. We were a few blocks from Edison Ford Museum and few blocks from downtown Fort Myers which offers many restaurants and shops. We took side trips to Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Boca Grand, and attended a Twins baseball game. There is a Publix 1 block away also.

Perfect for our return to Fort Myers

Cleo and Bucky’s cosy studio cottage is in easy walking distance of the buzzing downtown for dinner and a block from Publix if you’re self- catering. We also walked to the EdisonFord Estate for a unique historical viewpoint. The cottage has everything you’d need and the secluded back yard was perfect for a shady breakfast.

The cottage is set in wonderful tropical garden with flowering vines, trees and palms. Open spacious design of cottage was great place to relax. Close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Well equipped kitchen and private porch. Hosts live in house on the premises so they were alway available. Very clean and cozy.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I are Ft. Myers natives, having moved back home in 2008. We love this area and purchased our 1924 Arts & Crafts home, which is quite close to where we grew up. The house came with a cottage at the back of the property. We completely renovated the building, and first used it as my husband's ceramic studio. After purchasing the house next door & starting it our Green Palm Villa Vacation Rental, we decided to turn the ceramic studio into a our lovely Green Palm Cottage rental. We have had many lovely guest from all over the Us and also Europe. It's always a pleasure to meet them & be sure they are well taken care of. My reviews have all been 4's & 5's. No one has been disappointed!

What makes this property unique

Our guests always comment on how COMFORTABLE and CLEAN our rentals are. This is very important to us as we work very hard to give our guests a stress-free vacation with us by providing a lot of "extras" to make sure they have everything they need. Our location is a plus, being within a 15-minute walk to Downtown Ft. Myers and the parks along the Caloosahatchee River. We have a great Publix grocery near by, so shopping is easy and fast after a long flight or drive to Ft. Myers. Restaurants, bars, shops, antique stores, banks, drug stores and gas stations are all close. We have a new public library downtown on First Street, with the Berne Davis Art Center across the street from it.There are events nearly every week-end in Downtown, such as Music Walk, Art Walk, music & art festivals, etc. Ft. Myers Beach & Sanibel Island are about 15 miles south - a straight shot down picturesque McGregor Blvd.
