Tropical backyard is a great place to simply relax, but for those of you on the go, we provide a guest information notebook with maps, & lists of restaurants, attractions & recommendations. Bucky & I are both Ft. Myers natives and came back "home" in 2008. He had purchased our home at 2214 Brevard Ave, which is next door to our 2218 Green Palm Villa rental. Our house is also 1924 era and we have put tremendous effort in updating both our personal property and our rental next door, plus all our beautiful landscaping at both places. Since we live right here, we are always available to our guests, should they need us.
Why they chose this property
Green Palm Villa is a lovely 1924 home that we have converted tou our 4 beautiful apartments. Our tropical landscaping and overall visual effects of the property is so stunning that people often stop on the street to look and talk with us! We have a huge fenced backyard with a covered pergola and numerous seating arrangements. It's a great spot to just sit back & relax! There is also a grill and outdoor dining tables for our guests to use. Plus, we have a spa in the screened area off the back of the house. Free use of our washers & dryers, which are at the back of the house in the garden area.
What makes this property unique
Our location is fantastic. It's so easy to get to everywhere you wan to go. Downtown Ft. Myers is a 15 minute walk & our Publix grocery & the Thomas Edison, Henry Ford Museum is just blocks away. You can browse shops downtown, choose from many restaurants & walk along the Caloosahatchee river. There are parks & farmer's markets to explore, a huge new library, or just walk through many of the beautiful, historic streets along McGregor Blvd. We are a 15 minute drive from I-75 & it's easy to get to the ball parks, RSW airport, Naples Zoo or Botanical gardens. McGregor Blvd takes you down to the beaches on Sanibel Island or Ft. Myers Beach. Major shopping malls are easily accessed by I-75. There are so many places to explore here in SW Florida, and our locale makes it so easy to go either North or South!
