Some friends and I came to mountain bike on Mt Hough and golf in Graeagle. Property worked great for us. Bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces were clean and well appointed. We enjoyed alfresco dining on the back patio. Mountain bikers, the Yuba Expeditions shuttle service is just a mile away.
This is my 2nd time staying at this quant and sweet home in Quincy. The home is so clean and accommodating. Located walking distance to town and easy drive to hiking areas. I will definitely stay here again at my next visit to Quincy.
We enjoyed our stay in the house. It was far enough away from Main Street to be away from the hustle and bustle. We had two visits from the local bear looking for food in the trash cans, but no danger to us. The house is very quaint and was perfect for what we needed.
Great location & quiet neighborhood. Perfect home away from home in Quincy. Very clean, provided all the necessities. No issues with communication the owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again when I come to town. Loved all the wildlife, birds, deer, and even the bear!
Stay was beautiful and the space was as listed. It does get cold- so managing all the space heaters in different rooms required some coordination. Manager was communicative and kind. The only challenge while traveling with elders with limited mobility was the stairs in front of the house- we took it easy on those.
Went to Quincy to see my husband’s sister and family who live there. The house was very comfortable, enjoyed a couple nice breakfasts with the amenities at the home.
The host responded quickly to a couple questions we had.
We had a great time and the house was a great home base for us to rest and relax.

Some Hiccups Experienced
The property was as described and it provided an adequate stay for our crew working in the area.
Some frustrations we experienced were the check in process, we had to reach out to the owner in order to get the code to enter the house, usually that comes earlier and we're able to just check in.
Another issue was after check out, we received a bill of an additional $390 from the owner for a broken chair and excessive cleaning needed to pick up beer cans and cigarette butts in the yard. While our guys drink they do not smoke, and they are extremely neat. Our reviews speak for themselves. If you look at our history in the area with another house, that owner thanked us for the way we left the house so clean, so it was a shock to hear excessive cleaning was needed.
Our crew also said that the chair wasn't broken when they left the property. Not sure if someone else entered the property after we vacated but, the card was charged for the amount the owner deemed and we seemingly have no recourse. Just want to warn any future renters, there could be additional charges when you leave.
