The Bitty Houses are an ideal location and setting to make your home away from home with fully stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, and powerful views.

The Bitty House boasts an upper level master suite with a queen bed and en suite powder room and a direct view to the Bald Knob Cross monument. Downstairs is a private bedroom with a full sized bed, a fully stocked kitchen, a full common bathroom, a sitting area, small dining table, and a very relaxing screened in porch also facing Bald Knob Cross.

The Bitty House Too, located behind the Bitty House, has a private bedroom on the lower level with a queen bed. The main level has a spacious dining and sitting area, a fully stocked kitchen, a common full bath, a sleeping area with a daybed, and a cozy screened in porch. Enjoy the view of the Peachbarn Winery and vineyard from the back porch.

My getaway to the Bitty House was very comfortable and relaxing.

Being on a mountain top, seeing the Bald Knob Cross Monument, nature all around are some of the excellent points of this house.

Great house - beautiful location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It is very well appointed. The location is perfect and every view is stunning. The large screened in porch was our favorite spot for coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine or two in the evenings!

Perfect little location to unwind. Good location to make use of wineries, bourbon bar, parks for hiking and biking. Firepit was a nice bonus.

Always a delightful experience

The cottage is always clean and comfortable, plus they are always making upgrades to the furnishings. The cottage is fully supplied with everything you need, and if not they will provide it. Additionally the cottage is on the premises with the owners who are very prompt in responding. We are frequent quests at the Bitty House, this time we had an opportunity to spend some time with Jenny tasting some of their delicious wines. We had so much fun we are already planning our return trip.

Cozy, clean, convenient to hiking, shopping and wineries

We have stayed there several times, as usual the cottage is well taken care of, with upscale amenities. The hostess, Jennifer is quick to respond and very accommodating. We have been there different times of the year and had everything necessary for our comfort (a portable fireplace for warmth and ambiance). We will return.

Beautiful house and surrounding area!

The Bitty House was more than expected! Loved the charm inside and out. Perfect space for 3 adults and 1 child. Loved waking up to the surrounding farms, vineyard and hillside. Definitely the place to stay after checking out the local wineries!

Memorial Day Weekend

This is our 2nd time on the property. We stayed at Bitty House Too in December. Once again we had such an amazing time. We will ne back in December again.

Take in the absolutely awe-inspiring sunsets that frame the Bald Knob Cross monument right from your screened in porch. Please your palate with our estate grown, vine to bottle wines that start from the grapes growing in the vineyard directly next to you and pair them with our freshly homemade eats. We are excited to host your stay at our simply cozy homes and look forward to seeing you here in beautiful Southern Illinois!

We do not have Wifi but we have added a smart TV that will stream apps or accounts you may have if you have cell service and can hotspot off of your phone. There is also a DVD player. And of course gaming systems can plug into the TV also if you have a gamer in the group.
