Additionally, the Ross County Airport is only a short 15 minute drive away. Whatever your mode of transportation, getting to & from our Vacation Home is a breeze! ✅

Other Things to Note:

✍🏻 A $300 security deposit hold is placed prior to arrival. This is not an actual charge and will be automatically released within 5–7 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or violations of the house rules

Guests may choose a non-refundable $59 Damage Waiver instead of the $300 security deposit hold. The Damage Waiver provides coverage for accidental damage that may occur during the stay, subject to its terms and conditions

Our second-floor home is a duplex with the home downstairs an Vacation Rental (Jungle Thyme <- check it out!) Each home is completely separate & private from one another but please keep in mind there is a shared floor between the two homes!

* you can book both sides for bigger groups (up to 16 guests)

The home has one floor total, containing the living room space, full bathroom, kitchen area, master bedroom with one king bed, second bedroom with two king beds, and laundry room!

Please take note that the original hardwood floors for children as it is not child-friendly!

🚦 Prime location near the Chillicothe Downtown District and near the famous Paint Street so with possible noise from the busy street but we got your back with white noise machine in every room 🐦🎵

The apartment is the refurbished second floor of an older house. The place was clean and airy, with most details well thought out, the decor campy but fun. Appliances in the kitchen were new or nearly so. Bathtub/shower and sink looked almost new. The beds were very comfortable. There were easily operated heating/cooling devices. Communication with the host was easy.Despite the steep climb up the narrow old stairs, if it hadn't been for the following details we would have happily given the place five stars. The problems, especially for older people: a short flight of several narrow interior steps to one of the bedrooms has no rail. We think this is dangerous. Similarly, there are no grab bars to safely get in and out of a pretty deep tub-shower. Both of these problems could be rather easily fixed by the owner, and we hope they will be before there is an accident.

Clean

The apartment was the cleanest short term rental I've ever stayed in. Check in was easy. I didn't cook but the kitchen had everything you would need. But just basics. Plus plus coffee and coffee filters were there. And a few snacks. Bathroom had all the basics avaliable. Plenty of paper supplies. Easy walk to the downtown restaurants and shopping. The air conditioning is windrow units and there was only one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. I asked and quickly received one for the second bedroom. The house had no curb appeal and the porch and entry way with steps were not very clean. There is only street parking but there was always some available in close proximity. The houseplants get in the way a bit. There was a big plant in front of the only towel bar in the bathroom. You had to step into the plant to dry your hands. I moved the plant. There is no where to unload your clothes and no where to open your suitcase. No dresser and the closet is full of cleaning supplies. You have to open your suitcase on the floor and live out of it. Over all a good place to stay.

Home was clean upon arrival and well maintained. Close to town and drivable to fun activities such as Tecumseh Outdoor Theater, Hocking Hills or Serpent Mounds. Quick responses from host if anything is needed. Great for a quick getaway to southern Ohio!
