The areas you are referring to are a few old cosmetic water stains from a previous issue that was repaired long ago. There is no active leak, no structural damage, and no mold. We sent our maintenance technician to inspect your concerns during your stay, and he confirmed exactly that. We have been professionally managing short-term rental properties for over 10 years and have hosted thousands of guests. During that time, we’ve become very familiar with the difference between genuine maintenance concerns and complaints that appear to be made in an attempt to obtain a refund or discount. Unfortunately, this situation falls into the latter category. You were the only guest to raise this concern despite many guests staying in the home before and after your visit. The cosmetic ceiling marks do not affect the safety or functionality of the property, and we were transparent that they were already scheduled to be repaired during a planned maintenance period. We take our guests’ health and safety seriously. If there had been any evidence of mold or an active water issue, the property would have been removed from service immediately. We stand by the condition of our home and encourage future guests to read our many other reviews for an accurate picture of the experience we provide.
