The perfect stay while visiting our college student

We enjoyed this spacious and clean home while we were visiting our daughter who attends UNCW. The house was clean and came with extra amenities (beach chairs and a cooler) that came in handy for our trip to Wrightsville Beach. Great location, nice yard, and friendly neighbors. The bedrooms and house were a good size for our 5 adult family. It was super hot and ac wasn’t working well and owners and management immediately made sure it would work again. Renovated beautiful indoors and backyard.

My dad lives right around the corner from the Alton house and it was very convenient for us to be so close since we had our family’s Christmas/New Year’s get together at my Dad’s. The house was very well maintained and was overall clean. It had all the things we could have needed! The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and I love the decor! We look forward to staying here again in the future when we come back to NC!

Jumpstart on spring

This home is lovely. Very clean and well supplied with all the essentials in a quiet neighborhood. The huge backyard is a great place for the grandkids to run around in as the adults celebrate their dad’s birthday. The beautiful spring weather was a delight.

Amazing Getaway

This property was beautiful and had everything we needed. It's located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, not far from Carolina and Wrightsville beach, as well as grocery stores. It was well equipped with any and all items we needed i.e. dishes, utensils, Keurig, towels, etc... Communication with the property owner was quick and pleasant. Our party consisted of (4) adults and it had more than enough room for all of us. We would stay here again and I highly recommend this property.

Spacious and Convenient

The house was conveniently located within a short drive to several beaches and local attractions. The inside was spacious with lots of natutal light. It was well stocked with everything you could need while on vacation. You could tell the owners put a lot of time and love into making it feel like your home away from home. While we really enjoyed our time in the home we did have two issues. The first was really minor but worth noting. The master bed was set really high. We are of average height but had to basically jump to get into the bed. Once you were in it was comfortable. Our second issue was not so minor. We contemplated not making note of it but figured if the owners don't stay there they may not know. We noticed a few roaches over the course of our one week stay, a small one on our first night, a large one my son actually stepped on during a midsleep walk to the restroom and a baby one on our final night on the kitchen counter. With the exception of those two issues we enjoyed our time in the home.

FANTASTIC HOME! Except...

What a nice house! Stayed here for our daughter's graduation and had a great stay.. First and foremost it was extremely clean! That stood out as soon as we opened the door. Loved sitting out on the back patio and wish we could have utilized the fire pit. Good location between Carolina Beach and UNCW. Super comfy beds, very well stocked kitchen, and great extras like kayak, paddles, super nice beach chairs etc. Unfortunately it wasn't the 5 star experience due to the very sad TV channel selection and even worse, the water pressure. I'm not exaggerating when I say the pressure went down to a literal trickle if 2 people tried to shower at a time or if the dishwasher was going and someone tried to shower. If the kitchen sink was running or if a toilet was flushed the pressure went down so much it was basically useless to try to shower. BUT if no one else in the house uses water at all during your shower however you'll be fine 🙂 Take care of these 2 issues and it's easily 5 star stay.
