The house is beautiful and spacious. Location is great. Jacuzzi is good. The pool not used according to host not heated. Inside the house mostly renovated specially the rooms.Value for money is good its reasonableThings to improve kitchen staff utensils pots and pans very old even the can opener briken some broken mugs like no handle.House appliances very good.Furnitures are not safe for heavy guests dining chairs are wobbly .House is almost perfect except for kitchen .

Overall good. Kitchen was a little lean on a few items, but adequate. Jacuzzi was not operational. Host was very accommodating, and quick to respond.

Great Place for a Short Getaway

Property was great, close to the town of Bobcaygeon. The house was comfortable and well equipped. The pool was amazing and had great views of the lake. The owner took care of any issue/concern we had and stayed in communication to ensure a smooth stay. Would definitely recomment

Bobgaygeon Blue House

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property over the Civic Holiday weekend. The property was as advertised. Nice spacious home in a beautiful setting over looking the lake. It was hard to leave. Would certainly recommend this property to others

Overall great stay

Loved our experience at the Blue House. The open concept living rm/kitchen was great and better than shown in the pictures. Beds were comfortable and the house had all we needed for our stay. The host even organized the drop-off of a space heater for one room that was a bit cold, so we were very comfortable. The only improvement would be the dishwasher, since it doesn't clean the dishes very well, even when rinsed. A few more glasses would also be helpful.

Review

The location and house were good, however the utensils, kitchenware were not firstly enough and secondly clean. The plates and glasses were broken and were not enough for a group of 10. The dishwasher is in bad condition leaving detergent on the machine after the cycle and also leaving you to re do the dishes. In short, everything but he kitchen was good. Need more equipments and cleaning supplies like paper towel for a better experience.

Not as advertised

The house itself was spacious clean and comfortable. The cookimg supplies were old amd VERY worn with a mish mash of pots amd pans. The backyard had a nice fire pit with a beautiful lake view. There was a hot tub but it was a blow up one. There was a large old jacuuzi leaning up agaimst a tree a few feet away that was a huge eyesore. The wooden deck very old and not safe. Our issue was with the pool. The advertised picture shows a nice pool with a waterslide. When we arrived it was during a heat wave and we were excited to hit the pool. Unfortunately l, it was full of algae and the water was green. We reached out to the owner who promised to have the property managerr attend in the morning. This pool had obviously not been maintained. When nobody showed up the next morning and with still no pool we messaged the owner and asked if there was any way we could clean the pool. The owner provided instructions and we spent over 2 hours vaccuming the pool. Unfortunately this made the water turn even more greener. At 6:00 pm a pool tech arrived and "shocked" it with making it unswimmable for up to 24 hrs. We got one day of swimming . We chose this property because of the pool and could not use it save for 1 day. No manager arrived as we were promised. It was obvious to us that this property is just a money machine and has not been cared for. Uncut tall grass by the pool. Virtually unusable seating around the pool area. DEFINATELY not as advertised
