The house was great! We had 10 adults and 3 children stay and there was plenty of room! The dock was large enough to fit all of us. We would definitely stay again for sure!! The owner reached out to us a couple of times to check if everything was ok.
Had a wonderful time. House was extra roomy, plenty of space for lots of adults. Didn’t see the owners much, when we did they were really pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. What a beautiful place.

4th of July celebration
House as described Had pretty much what we needed bedroom and kitchen appliances Note charcoal grill on back porch no gasFish were plentiful for the kidsNice boat dock and stairs leading into the water!Good value for price Plenty for the kids to doI suggest rent or bring boatNice size cove and outlet for tubbing off the main lake
The dock and location were beautiful, with a great view—but it was tough to enjoy at times because of all the spiderwebs. The kitchen was large, though not well stocked for cooking for a big group. We also noticed crumbs in the cabinets when we arrived, and the interior paint was a bit worn. Once we got past those things, we were able to settle in and enjoy the stay.

From the Owner: "Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful location and view. We’re aware of the spiderwebs on the dock. Unfortunately, the HOA does not allow spraying, but we’re installing a new Trex deck this September, which should help. We do have a full set of cookware and utensils (pots, pans, knives, and cooking tools are located under and next to the stove), as well as place settings for 21 guests, with sleeping arrangements for 14. We’ve also recently hired a new cleaner who started last week, so cabinet cleanliness and general upkeep will be improved moving forward. Thank you for staying with us, and we’d love to welcome you back for an even better experience next time!"
We are doing an addition at our house and couldnt accommodate anyone. This house turned out to be great. Big enough for everyone and around the corner from us. The hosts were very gracious about everything.
My husband and I was not sure about owner living downstairs but we had great communication with them and it made things easier. Toilet was clogged they came to help unclog it. The owners help us out with parking and making our stay comfortable. Every owners are different but definitely wouldn't mind staying at this house again for next gathering.
The house is gorgeous and plenty big enough for our group of 15. Your not on top of each other and the rooms are roomy enough to put a air mattress if needed. Renee was very nice and communicated well. We were even able to check in an hour earlier than expected. The boat dock has a swinging bench to sit at and look over the water. Came equipped with life jackets, and the water was amazing! My family and I will definitely return in the future.
We were in contact with our hosts prior to arriving and throughout our stay. They were very friendly and helpful with information about the area. You can’t beat this location for a family stay. The only downside is the path to the dock is very steep. If you have any elderly people in your party, the walk and angle will be very taxing. The hosts went out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. They gleaned from our pre-trip conversation that we were celebrating our anniversary while there. They had a bottle of wine waiting for us to celebrate.
The house was wonderful. Spacious driveway with plenty of parking. The house was wonderful with room for everyone - multiple families with kids and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels and linens so we didn't need to bring a thing. Kitchen was also equipped with everything you need. Outdoor space was also great with views of the lake and a nice dock for swimming and we could even bring our boat. We were well taken care of and Renee was so kind to check in with us during and after our stay. We had forgotten some things and she let us know right away. Highly recommend this property and we look forward to visiting again!

2/10 Terrible

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
I've never left a negative review, but this place deserves it. Honestly, the listing borders on fraud. The place is filthy, the back yard is nothing like the listing shows and is filled with overgrown bushes and a huge downed tree that looks like someone attempted to cut up, but then gave up. The floors have huge gaps all the way around the house where quarter-round should be to complete the seam between the floor and the wall. Porches filthy, outdoor staircase rickety, covered in growing weeds. The dock railings have extremely large and thick spider webs on the entire length of the walkway, which was partially blocked by something on a handtruck. I checked in, looked around, saw that my wife would never stay at this place, so called her and told her to meet me at the Holiday Inn instead, and that's where we stayed. I never set foot in the house again, and I hope this review will save someone else from ever setting foot in it as well. This house is tired, run down, and looks like a half-hearted DIY remodel project that was never completed.

We're sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. The homeowner wanted to clarify the following:- We maintain a regular cleaning schedule and have photos and videos showing the home and yard were clean and in good repair at the time of your arrival.- The deck is swept regularly, but since it's fall, fallen leaves can accumulate quickly. The vines you mentioned near the outdoor stairs are flowering plants, not weeds.- The downed trees are located on land regulated by the U.S. Army Corps, and per their guidelines, we are not permitted to remove them entirely, only from walkways like the golf cart path. These trees came down during Hurricane Helene in October 2024.- South Carolina naturally has JoJo spiders, and while there are no spider webs inside the home, they can appear on the dock. Because the dock is over water, pesticide use is restricted by government regulations. However, we do supply a broom and spray on-site to help with this.- The floating dock sections were recently repaired, and we’ll follow up with the service provider to ensure all the floats are removed.Thank you for letting us know about your visit.
