We were surprised when we opened the door and had to go in the front door to the house, walk through their living room, upstairs and down a hallway to the room that was ours. The house was dirty and smelled of a deep frier. There was clothes in the dresser in our room. The host was nice and helpful, the bed comfortable but we were shocked when we came in the front door and only had a bedroom which we felt confined to. VRBO felt the listing was accurate. I would argue that.

All the family was very kind with us! They helped us a lot hosting both cat and dog (it was very difficult to find a solution Where to stay in Vancouver). We could use a microwave to eat lunch and dinner in the room. The room is big and comfortable, the position of the house is nearby supermarkets (10 minutes walking) in a nice neighbourhood, we could walk every day with our dog easily! There is a bus nearby and you can take it to go to the town

The house is in a nice quiet neighbourhood and the owner was very nice. But when we arrived no one was home and we were surprised to walk into what was clearly someone’s family home with no idea where our room was. I felt very uncomfortable with the extreme messiness of the house and wondered if it was used as a public hostel which is why it was so messy. But it seems it is just a family home. The bedroom we were given was comfortable and quiet with a private bathroom.

The room was pretty clean, but the rest of the house looked like a bomb had exploded. The house also smelled like a deep fryer.The host did give me some money back because his son had come home and there was extra stuff in the house.Would not recommend.

Great location, conveniently located close to the airport. The bed was very comfortable, and the private shower was stocked with all the necessities. The host communicated well. The only minus for me was that the place was on a messy side.

Quiet overnight stop 10 mins from airport

Very handy for airport. Quiet residential area. Shops & food 10 mins walk away. David let us check in early & kindly put my ice pack (for medication) in family freezer. This is a room in a family home, but family respectful of our privacy.

As advertised and more!

I spent the week at David's listing and could not have been happier with the accommodations. The location was very close to the airport and the check-in instructions were simple and straightforward. David provides a number combination on the touch keypad for entry and each room is provided with its own key for renter security. The room was very clean and comes with free wifi, RokuTV, a desk, full bathroom, and clean linens. Looking forward to staying here next time I find myself in the Vancouver area!
