Amazing property, beautiful gardens! Close to local shops and ferry terminal.Only downside was there is no washing machine (laundry) so that made things a bit difficult having to take washing over to the mainland, other than that, it was a great experience overall my family and I had the best time and definitely recommend staying there!

Nice place to stay.

We have stayed here couple of times. The place is great! Nice and clean and comfortable for our stay. Kevin and Sue were great host very quick response and very helpful.

Quiet and cosy

Sweet character filled house with lovely sunroom and outdoor eating under leafy vines.Close to main road on Russell island.Not great reception (no wifi, only personal data) but then that’s the holiday we wanted - phone free! Would come again!

Russell Island getaway

I loved the house. No aircon or dishwasher but you really didn’t need them. The outdoor room was fantastic. Gardens were a spot of heaven and we picked things out of it for our meals. We also got to meet the delightful Kay and she was a wealth of information about RI. Thanks so much for a fantastic weekend.

Flexible owners - lovely setting, enjoyed it !!!

Loved the stay and warm welcome from hosts Kevin and Sue. This is clearly a place that someone has called home in the past and it was still very homely.Property was in a peaceful location and we ended up having xmas lunch under the outdoor pergola instead of planned other family location as it had enough outside space for our siblings and parents. The minor suggestions we would have desired is wifi, the ability to hookup bluetooth to the sound bar/woofer under tv. The blue-ray disk player included gave consistent “disk errors” on each of the cds supplied when loading attempted so we didn't get to enjoy any of the movies on offer.. We would like to stay there again in future and overall the experience was very good. Thank you Kevin and Sue!Adam & Kim
