A total of 994 square feet. 225CL | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). Enjoyed the side yard/backyard, for barbecuing and enjoying family time. Grocery store was in walking distance and we cooked all our meals at the property. It was also nice having a half bathroom for our large group.

It was really nice, the house was clean, and spacious. The air cirulated well and it didn't feel hot. Everything was functional and we had a grill which was great for a barbecue. 10/10 will try to book again when I come back to catalina.

Perfect house if you have kids because it was walking distance to everything, restaurans, the beach and Vons max 5 minutes away. The backyard was great, at nights we sat outside. My first time in Catalina and let me tell you I'm definitely going back and hopefully I can stay at the same house again. I mean everything!

New floors for the win!!!

We have actually stayed at this beach house years ago. So we thought knew what it would be like this year. Boy were we wrong… We walked in to brand new floors which absolutely was a game changer. The house felt cleaner, brighter & overall looked modern. The kitchen has everything you need. This Beach House is a 10 out of 10 .

Pro and Cons

Location was excellent if you are looking for proximity to the downtown activities and restaurants. Be aware it is on the recommended golf cart route, so noisy. Rental agency was very available and responsive when we found we lacked wifi. Home was very poorly provisioned. Old, worn out cooking equipment, lacked many basics, most towels more like thin rags, no patio chairs to use on the very unkempt patio, etc. Would not stay again.

Stay while doing the BZJones hike

Gale warnings on Sunday cancelled all boats. The landlord gave us a 50% discount on the VRBO listing for the extra night. A definite comebacker. Puzzles, videos, books, Oven and full size refrigerator. Easy walking distance to shuttles, Vons and beach. Recommend Highly. Watch for email from owner requesting credit card to get lockbox number. Small snag. our fault.

Great spot right in town.

This house is beautiful inside and out. It's very close to everything Avalon has to offer. The check-in and check-out processes were simple and quick. The kitchen was well kitted with utensils, blender and coffee pot. Be aware that there is one queen bed and 2 bedrooms have twin-size bunkbeds. It could be a tight squeeze for a tall family. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would stay here again.
