We came as a group of 6 women for a Bachelorette weekend. The house location is great, perfect for walking into town. We were only a few minutes drive from beaches and State Parks. The house size was perfect and had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice. Dana was very good at communicating and answering messages and the information about the area was nice to have!
We experienced some issues with the AC operation resulting in going without AC for the 3 day trip, which was less than ideal in mid 80's weather. However, things happen and the owner was very responsive and did what she could to try and resolve the situation. Also the night breeze through the windows turned out to be very relaxing.
Location was great, less than 10 min walk to downtown shops and restaurants. House was fairly clean and had basic amenities. Hot tub was nice and relaxing
We had a nice stay. Shirt walk to town. Upstairs had a deck which was very nice. It does say two bathrooms but I only seen one. Which was ok since it was the two of us.

OK place to stay in Saugatuck
The kitchen area is the largest with a smaller family room and TV with the network stations. The first-floor bedroom has a cute little toilet, sink and shower in what used to be a closet. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious with a deck you can go out on, which is nice. We didn't use the hot tub, but it looked clean. There were some cleanliness and bug issues in the house, but the property manager said they would address those. You need to like a very hard mattress if you stay here - realize that can be a matter of preference. Couches are pretty hard also but there's one comfortable reclining chair. Good lighting for the house with lots of windows. While not in town, the house is about a 10-minute walk away. Check in was easy and good information about Saugatuck available if you need ideas. Has washer and dryer with detergent, which was nice.
This was a great location. Easy to walk to downtown Saugatuk and beach was a quick drive. We enjoyed Oval beach. We didn’t mind the $10 parking fee because there were spots next to beach. We tried South Haven beach and couldn’t find a parking spot. So we left

Nice place overall
The spiders outside in the outdoor furniture bit all of us up. Please spray the yard and the lawn furniture.
Enjoyed our stay - house was clean and close walk to downtown. Main floor bathroom was small, but clean and functional.
Only complaint is that bedroom mattress on main floor was not good - squeaky every time either of us rolled over, soft with a tilt towards the middle.
Replace that - and all good.
Thanks for letting us use your home.

Oversold
This house was very unlevel. Not a level floor in the entire place. Trip hazard concrete sidewalks lead into an equally risky sloped foor home. It was like a fun house at a carnival. We actually put folded uo pizza box under the front legs of the couch because without it you were nearly rolled out of it duebti the floors slope! The shower wss horribly dirty...mildew and mold under a low ledge in the one shower while the 2nd was conventionally located in the bedroom closet....terrible setup and not what youd expect from the pictures they show.No photos because this feedback page wasn't even offered until well after we had left. Pictures of the moldy mildew mess i wiped from the shower ledge would have been enough to request a refund for sure.

The cutest!
The house is so cute inside! We had a bachelorette/girls weekend and we loved the purple everything around the home! The layout was perfect and we all loved how open it was. The hot tub was nice and clean, the house was clean and everything was easy to find. I wish there would have been "leaving" instructions, we just weren't sure where we should have put the used linens and towels but that was the only thing we were semi indifferent about. The house is also the perfect distance from the downtown area, it was a nice 5-10 minute walk and there is plenty of parking in the driveway. The guest book included restaurants, local shops, where to get ice cream, every detail right at your finger tips and so well thought out.
Great stay! You won't be disappointed.

Disappointing
My husband and I ended up leaving our recent stay early-not because of the amazing town of Saugatuck, but the house was not what we expected. Although the proximity to town was great, the house smelled very musty and was not clean. Both of our allergies went crazy as soon as we walked in. The king sized bed upstairs was quite hard and the fan above the bed was wobbling so bad that it looked as if it was going to fall on us at any moment. We couldn't get the TV upstairs to work and the bathroom shower downstairs was SUPER small. The booking and check-in process were great and the owner/property manager Dana was very responsive to our communications. It was just somewhat disappointing for the amount of money we spent on the house for the weekend.

Location but little else
Downtown Saugatuck and the lake are a short walk from the house. The beach is a short drive. From a location standpoint, the property is great. It has little else going for it. The decor is hideous and very outdated. Appliances and fixtures are cheap, old, and not installed properly. There were several missing light bulbs. The oven is not anchored to the cabinets or wall, it could be pulled completely out when opening the door. The tile floor is in need of a serious scrubbing - it is dingy and very dirty looking. The beds are not at all comfortable. The furniture is mismatched thrift shop. The bathroom in the "master suite" is so small as to be almost unusable. It appears to have been installed in very small closet. A normal sized adult male barely fits in the shower and the sink is miniscule. The second bedroom is large but it is upstairs while the accompanying bathroom is downstairs. That bathroom is a reasonable size, but the shower is still quite small. The upstairs bedroom is a loft-style, with no door, an open railing, and somewhat steep steps up to it. The house looks like it's been decorated for Mardi Gras with purple kitchen cabinets and plastic streamers taped up on some walls. The TV is quite small and there is only seating for 3 people in the living room and 3 people at the dining table. Overall the property was a disappointment.
The house is about a 10 minute walk to town, great location. No frills, nothing fancy, but a good place to stay for a few nights and is dog friendly. Hot tub was nice at the end of a long day. The yard could use some TLC.
The house has an overall nice layout with lots of room in the kitchen and living areas including upstairs bedroom. There is WIFI and basically no other tech in the house and has an "old school vibe". Generous towels and linens most beds were comfortable but the downstairs bed seemed a bit worn and too soft for comfort. Location is excellent in proximity to downtown Saugatuck and a short walk is all it takes to be shopping and dining downtown. Hasn't much landscaping in a while and do not expect groomed grounds. BBQ worked perfectly and the kitchen appliances were used a lot with success.. Expected the property to be more modern an updated for this price. Overall experience was a thumbs up!
The house is in a great location that is walking distance to all of the downtown Saugatuck locations. The house was not very clean. It had been closed up for a long time. Lots of spiders and pretty sure a mouse/mice based on droppings found on the kitchen counters :(
