Welcome to Clayton’s Corner at Las Verandas offering a much larger square
footage than the norm for its condo offerings. This condo is perfect for
families & up to 6 people are allowed (total including kiddos)
Our condo has new paint and many new furnishings though not a complete remodel
While we have the best available Internet/wifi from spectrum they are the only
provider on the island and up time and coverage can be spotty at times we want
you to be aware of that
If you can't find the network name SouthPadreTrips it's usually means we had a
power outage and when the power comes back on It typically defaults the router
to the factory network name and password, which is located on a sticker on top
of the router.
Generally, if you reboot the router by unplugging it for a few minutes and
plugging it back in it will pop up

The 3rd floor affords a great view of the pool area & spectacular sunsets on
the bay, and with an elevator on property there is no downside besides this
enhanced view and no noise from above.
The condo has all tile floors, higher ceilings, and an eat in fully equipped
kitchen perfect for breakfast tacos or serving up some margaritas for the
patio with a Blackstone BBQ grill. A convenient washer & dryer set up is great
for after beach cleanup or traveling home with all clean clothes
For those that have to work the counter works well, along with high speed
wifi. The bedding is currently a King bed in master, 2 single beds in 2nd
bedroom as bunks, a queen bed, a couch that does not pull out, and a double
sized airbed & pump we provide (bring extra bedding if you plan on using),
this condo equipped with 3 smart TV's
This complex has a gated, coded entrance for privacy as well as 2 dedicated
free off street parking spaces for our guests. The location if you want day or
nightlife is pretty unbeatable - this is about 2 blocks from Clayton’s Beach
Bar - far enough away yet close enough to walk it out if a concert is on your
mind.
Additional, Las Verandas is walkable to dining includes Bar Louies at the
Courtyard by Marriott up the street, Kelly’s Irish Pub, & on the border
cantina at Hilton Garden Inn and Barrys Beach Bar
For something to do with your kiddos, walk nearly across street to the famous
Sea Turtle Inc rehab project & visitors center, or take them to the SPI
Birding Center & buy the extra pass to go out on the boardwalk to see Big
Padre, the resident Alligator below.
The Convention Center is very close about 1 mile for those that want a condo
instead of a hotel room for conferences.
The public beach is easy to access about a block and half away. Las Verandas a
great pool, and this complex has low short term rental usage which is great
for families that don’t want it too crazy.
Unit 307 is professionally managed by South Padre Trips locally at 2600 Padre
Blvd, and we provide linens, towels, and all bedding as well as a starter
toiletries & soaps, trash bags, dishwasher pods though not unlimited. For
stays over 3 nights we offer complimentary towel & linen exchange at our
office.
1 dog up to 25 lbs is allowed though it may not be left alone to bark. There
is a maximum of 6 people allowed here - that includes infants and babies and
cannot be adjusted up please note.

Las Verandas though it is close to bars & concerts, this is not a party
complex and set up for families. BBQ on premise is not allowed by pool though
as mentioned there is a Blackstone BBQ grill on your private patio - nor loud
music allowed at any time. It is family oriented.
This property and listing does require a few things after the booking is made
on Airbnb:
1.) You must additionally assure against damages by either agreeing to pay a 1
time $59 damage coverage protection plan fee (not refundable) to assure
against damages
OR
You may choose to do a fully refundable $500 damage deposit. You must do one
or the other to book this property and stay here
We bill for either via the Airbnb resolution center prior to arrival. Again,
these are fully disclosed for guest convenience as many HOAs are very strict
on coverage plans.
Our listing again, REQUIRES that the primary tenant is 25 years of age or
older to book & must be present at check in. You MUST contact us prior to
booking if you are not 25 - no exceptions - though it IS POSSIBLE sometimes
with additional requirements.
2.) Please take note we do require an E sign rental agreement with an attached
photo ID after booking is made, We require to maintain our City of South Padre
Island Rental License a signed rental agreement you may esign by docusign
prior to arrival to be checked in with door code therefore you must provide
your email address. You must attach a pic of your photo ID OR upload to Airbnb
messaging to age verify as 25 years of age or older. If you are not 25, we do
NOT allow you to book unless you contact us first :) though it may be possible
with additional requirements
The South Padre Short Term Rental License number can be provided upon request.

**Special Terms for Spring Break Dates: March 8 through March 23**
Main guest must be 25+ OR you are required to pay both the $500 refundable
damage deposit. This is per HOA requirements.
