Instructions for the door code seemed lacking, so we could not unlock the house when we first arrived, but good communication with the owner/rep. had us inside within 5 minutes, so no big deal. Great house, great location.
We stayed over spring break and my family had a blast. Enough bends to sleep a large family. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer and seeing the red woods was on his bucket list. The house is perfect location wise to visit The Trees or Mystery and close to the beach. we even got to see sand dollars fresh fromThe ocean and being from Washington we had never seen a whole sand dollar from the ocean. The Sea Quake Brewery had amazing food and the best house made root beer. All in all my family had an unforgettable experience.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your vacation. Thank you so very much for your review. Please come stay at our home again soon.
Lots of space for our family and great parking. Walking to get to the Pebble Beach and tide pools was amazing! We had a great time here. Communication was efficient and easy. Thank you!
Lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable beds, Kitchen needs some help: Not enough dishes or silverware for 12 people to eat one meal together and the stove had a burner that wasn’t useable. Host was amazing on giving us updates when the tsunami warnings came in and what we needed to do

From the owner: "Thank you for the review. We were unaware that we now have fewer dishes and silverware. We also had not been notified that a burner wasn't working. We will rectify that immediately. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay. Please come again. We will have plenty of silverware and dishes for your large group."
The house was very spacious! We went for the Redwoods. It was a short drive to several hikes within the parks. The beach was a short walk, perfect to watch the sunset! Lots of restaurants and a Walmart near by for all your needs. The hot tub was great! It was the perfect way to relax while watching the stars!
This home was a great base for our coastal activities. Loved that we could walk to some tide pools right from the house. Quiet neighborhood. And very responsive host. Everything we needed could be found in the house. We didn't use them, but the beach toys in the backyard was a friendly touch.

Annual Family Fishing Weekend
The Napa St house was the perfect place for our family to gather.Four generations come together every year for an annual fishing weekend. The house allowed us all to stay together and was very conveniently located. The fishing people were close to the harbor while the beachgoers had a short walk down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets were a block away. The hot tub was wonderful. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We are hoping to make this our go to spot in the future.
We had a very pleasant stay at this property. The house was clean and well stocked with basic needs: linens, toiletries, dishes and pots and pans.
One of the bedrooms didn't have any window coverings and we were waken up by the sunlight at 5am. When we contacted the property manager, they came to address the problem right away. Very prompt response.
We had a wonderful stay at the Napa street house on pebble beach. The house was spacious for our large party to sprawl out. We had 3 generations with us ranging from 60s down to the youngest at 5 months and an adventurous cat. Nestled into neighborhoods right near town this was the perfect location for a home base for our families adventure days. The backyard was fenced and clean with open space for our kids to play. The washer and dryer were very much appreciated on this trip after many adventures. The host/owner was very responsive when the coffee maker died (an essential for the sanity of all) and brought us a new one promptly. The only downside to the house was no fans and a very small water heater (hard when multiple bathrooms are being used). When we arrived we had a few flys sneak in the house so when you arrive try and keep the doors closed while you unload. Some of the windows don’t have screens and a few of the blinds don’t haves pulls to lift them up so be careful if you have small kids with you. Overall we had a great stay!

We saw COCKROACHES in the kitchen around midnight on our third night and actually caught one the next morning. We messaged the homeowner at 8:30 that morning, notifying her that we were leaving a day early. The house manager came over, (without our consent). She acknowledged the state of the neighbor's yard, and guessed the cockroaches came from his yard. We found last-minute accommodations for our family (4 adults & 1 teen), but that cost us much more. After doing more research, (having never dealt with cockroaches before), we realized the seriousness of the situation, the diseases that cockroaches can carry, and the cleaning precautions we would need to take to prevent bringing them into our home. We also ended up having to throw away most of our food. We reached out to Evolve property management twice and VRBO multiple times, but the situation was not resolved to our satisfaction.

We want to address the concerns you shared regarding your stay. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, as this is not the standard we strive to provide. We understand how unsettling it must have been to encounter this issue and the inconvenience it caused for your family. During your stay, we did offer to send professional services to address the concern immediately, though that option was declined at the time. We also provided bug spray as an interim solution while working to resolve the issue. Following your departure, we took extensive steps to ensure this would not happen again, including multiple professional evaluations and fumigation treatments. Upon further review, we can confirm that your stay was fully refunded. We regret the disruption this caused and thank you for letting us know about your visit.

Great Location
This house was in a great location - easy walk to the beach and convienient to lots of things. We walked to the beach every night for the sunset and it was wonderful. Awesome to have a fenced yard for our pup. The bed was super comfortable (we only used the king) and it was great to have a little bit of adjustment available. The place's decor is functional, nothing fancy. Clean. There were plenty of pots and pans and utencils. Plenty of large towels. A couple of things for future guests: you need to bring ice. Best to bring detergent if you want to do laundry, there wasn't any when we were there. No fans (no ceiling or box fans). There aren't carpets, which is understandable being pet priendly, but the stairs are a tad steep and might be a challenge for some humans and some pups. The area was pleasant, but some dogs around that bark at night (it is a neighborhood). You don't hear them with the windows closed. The place has beds for a lot of people, but the hot water heater didn't support more than one shower at a time for us). Great place and we hope to visit again.

Property was very clean and well kept. Roomy house with a very big fenced in back yard for the dog. Even had a doggy door. Amenities were not as advertised and utensils were lacking. Suggest that someone check out utensils. For example there was no can opener. Had to ask very nice neighbor to barrow his, listed a coffee grinder in items available. So we decided to bring whole bean coffee. coffee grinder was nowhere to be found. Called host she returned call and said that previous guest broke the coffee grinder. She agreed to purchase a new one and bring it to us that evening. the next day we call the host and left a message that we never received the grinder and that we could not locate the outside trash cans. Host never returned that call. We had to go buy ground coffee. And we found the garbage cans down on the corner the next day. also the master bedroom sheets did not fit and kept sliding off the bed. the TV remote had no batteries. the mattress for the tremmel bed so very thin and uncomfortable. One of the boys ended up sleeping in a recliner instead. Molding on one of the steps to the upstairs was loose and had to be repaired by us (safety issue). We did contact the company who contacted the owner. After two phone calls and an email explain issues. Wem did get a new grinder and batteries for the remote late on day 2. I have my doubts that i will ever stay there again.
