About this property

Amazing Beachfront/Garden Condo with Ocean View/Beach Access

This oceanfront garden apartment (no stairs), is located in Bosque del Mar, a private gated community (24 hour security) next to the exclusive Rio Mar Area. Our apartment is one of the closest to the beach in the whole apartment complex, and you can relax in its balcony while you view the beach and listen to the sound of the waves.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 full bath apartment has a queen size bed and a full futon, 32 inch TV, Air Conditioning and a full bath in the master room. The second room has a twin/full (bottom) bunk bed, Air Conditioning and a pack and play for babies. The apartment also has a livingroom area with a full futon, a 32 inch LCD TV (with cable), a sound system, DVD player and Air Conditioning. The living-room also has a dinning table for four, fully equipped kitchen and additional seating area with two bar stools. The apartment also has a washer and dryer and wireless Internet access.


It is fully furnished and its balcony is located next to the living area, with a wonderful view of the beach, the mountains and the Caribean sky. Bosque del Mar has direct access to the beach, an adult pool and a separate kid’s pool, tennis and basketball courts, a soccer field and a playground for kids. The unit has 2 parking spaces available.

Great family vacation spot!

Loved our stay here! Quiet, clean, right on the beach and great area for little kids to run around just out the door. The host was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the island!

Great place to stay!

This was our second stay in this unit, so we really enjoyed it. Loved the ground floor access, and very close to the beach. Communication with Carlos was great, and made sure we had all the necessities.

This complex is off the beaten path so you'll need a car.condo is exactly as described. Clean with everything you need.tons of beach stuff.with pool and beach 30 sec from your door. peaceful,not crowded

Perfect location

Perfect location for our needs and the adventures we had close by. The property was a perfect down time condo. Pool access and beach walk. The sounds of the waves crashing were amazing!

This was perfect, exactly as posted. Had a lot of things in the apartment that we could use at the beach. Of the beaches we tried in the area, the one on site was our favorite! Would stay again!

Nice condo in a great place, the beach is next door. All the tourist places are within 30-45 min The condo is very well equipped with more than we need.

Ideal location very close to the beach and pool. We loved the ground floor walkout. The condo was very comfy with all amenities we needed plus more. Carlos was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

True definition of Paradise

This was our first family trip to Puerto Rico and we will be back for sure. The property had everything you would need from Towels to beach chairs, boogie boards to coolers, there really was no need to travel to any other beach. Was hard to leave this little bit of Paradise. Perfect for the whole family. The sunsets were breathtaking. Great communication with Carlos all throughout; would highly recommend!!

Smelled like mold the moment you walk in. When you turn the air on it helps some. Water leaks in back shower all over. ANTS literally everywhere. Mostly in back bathroom but also in kitchen, microwave, and bed even. He forgot we were coming so we had issues even getting into the gate when we first arrived. Which explains why the place was nasty. Carlos refused to work with us when we complained and even admitted he had ants when he scoped it out when we left. Still had zero care in the world. So here I am writing a review for the first time ever. Hopefully this will save someone else from staying in a less than motel 6 place. Happy Travels

Disappointed

Our names were not in the list of guests staying so the initial arrival at the security gate was frustrating. The condo was very outdated. We had to buy hand soap and paper towels (items that should have been stocked at the property). We also had to re-wash the towels because they smelled terrible. Lastly, the washing machine sounded like it was going to blow up and on our last day, it broke and leaked water everywhere. The area is perfect and the beach gorgeous.

Great Stay!

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the property. The unit itself was perfect in size and cleanliness. The property was a little hard to find but that was our fault. The property owner actually provided perfect instructions that we missed. We arrived at 2:00 AM and noticed an issue with one of the three air conditioners. The owner contacted us the next morning (before we had a chance to contact him), asked us if it was OK to have someone come in the unit, and it was fixed on the first day. In addition, the beach access was nicer that described. The only complaint was the mattresses could have been better. With that said, I would not hesitate to return.

Puerto Rico get away

Location was great. We could see and hear the surf from the patio and take daily walks on the beach. It was windy almost the whole two weeks we were there. The waves were good for body surfing but not swimming. The swimming pool is 21 yds. long and we often had it to ourselves. Condo is close to El Jungue rainforest and Loquillo beach, and not far from Fajardo or San Juan. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. I did not find the beds to be comfortable but I'm a terrible sleeper no matter where I am. The bathtub was slippery so I wore my flip flops to shower. Lots of towels. Washer and dryer look old but work fine.

Perfection!

We traveled around PR for ten days and this was our favorite place we stayed! Next time we'll stay here our entire trip! We took our 3 small kids & grandma along with my husband and I & everyone really enjoyed this place! We had a few little hiccups with things like the cable box not working, but the owners were extremely responsive & got it fixed right away. There was a nice beach cart that we used to push all the toys, drinks, diapers, etc. down to the beach for the kids. We pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves. It was paradise! The ocean was great & the kids were able to use the boogie board in the small waves. It was very relaxing! We were close to many food options including grocery stores & resorts. We went 4 wheeling and to the rain forest right across the street & it was the best time! I can't say enough about the location and fun we had at this place! Thanks to the owners for making it a great part of our trip!

A little disappointed

The good: the apartment is well-equipped with everything you need both inside and at the beach. The beds were comfortable. The location is convenient for many tourist activities. The disappointing: while basic “everyday” cleaning was fine, this apartment is well worn. The walls, upholstered furniture, and touch points are dirty. The patio door and window wouldn’t lock, so we used the hurricane shutters for security. We saw ants and cockroaches during our stay. The pool was also really dirty like the filter wasn’t working or something, which left me nervous about whether the chemicals were checked properly. The beach is obviously not within the owner’s control, but it was full of sargassum and the water was very rough.

Perfect for an East side beach vacation

The location of the condo was the best. The condo is right at the beach access. Theres a soccer field, playground and pool right there too. Tennis and maybe kayaks on the property too. I loved listening to the waves roaring from the hammock on the ground floor patio. We spent our time exploring El Junque and the beaches of the East side. The location of the complex is perfect distance between everything. Nice, quiet, safe area. We traveled as a family with kids ages 0-15. Lots of sleeping spaces made the stay comfortable for everyone. The condo is stocked with everything you need and some condiments and spices too. They also have beach toys, chairs, coolers, towels, wagon. It's helpful to have all of these things. Thank you. The grocery store, kiosks and everything we needed was less than 10 minutes away. The outside temperature at night was perfect and I wish that the windows had screens, because I hated closing everything up and missing out on a beautiful beach breeze and sound of the waves through the night.

Beautiful Getaway Location

The grounds of this condo was great for us, we had a toddler. A few playground items, gate to the beach. However, owners kept not shutting it and leaving unlocked to not use keys . Red flag beach. The beach is rugged to say the least , but a natural beach. The golden sands & powder soft, toddler enjoyed the sand toys left at the condo. Also beach chairs and accessories were great to have. Pool is clean and nice. The location of the ground level patio was great to walk right out to grass and see the beach from it. Inside the condo…. The sliding cushion of the futon which is your only couch was very annoying. The condo had a slight smell on the furniture of owner or previous renters having a dog. We could smell it and some dog hairs here and there. But the condo lacks deep cleaning, dark long hairs all over the condo, even on the white hanging towels. If you drop any food in the kitchen , it would get picked up with some lint and a hair. Super gross. The kitchen is lived in, loaded with food from previous people and owner. Maybe not a bad thing but not a single empty cabinet for our food items we bought. So everything spread out on counter. 4 cup coffee maker only and tiny mugs. 2 full beds only in master. So family of 3 , had to sleep separate . No hand towels or wash clothes. Loaded with Christmas decor still mid January.15 min drive to El Yunque and was beautiful to explore! 30 mins from airport. All in all this was good location, I want clean & no clutter for vacay!

Great Beach Location for Family! Well Equipped!

Located in a 24/7 security gated condo community called Bosque Del Mar. Pictures are mostly accurate, actually even better. Ground level within ear and eye shot of the beach. There are now two new beds in the master bedroom and an additional bed alongside the bunk-beds in the 2nd bedroom. Well equipped with everything you need: towels, beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, wagon, grill w/ propane, cooler, large battery backup for power outages, etc. etc. Carlos was very responsive and took care of us with any question or issue we had. You will need a rental car, but it is well located for beaches, rain forest, bio bays, ferry, several restaurants, grocery stores, all within about 30 minutes. Would not hesitate to recommend this location or Carlos as a host! Hope to be back to the island again!
