We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for my daughters VT graduation. A bit of a drive to Blacksburg but not terrible. We found a nice restaurant just down the hill. Beautiful views and sunrises. We drove past a giant bear going up to road to the house which was exciting. The beds were very comfortable. There is a bathroom with shower on every floor. Kitchen is well stocked and includes a keurig, but I would recommend adding a few more coffee mugs. Lots of firewood.
Save your money. Do not stay at this property. It is not as described. The road leading to the house is treacherous as well as the driveway being almost impossible to get up. We found the house in an unsafe condition. The door was unlocked and open when we got there. It was supposed to be locked. Terrible property.

The electronic door lock was inspected following the reservation and confirmed to be functioning properly. Although the guest chose not to complete the stay, we regret that the arrival experience did not meet expectations. We take guest concerns seriously and remain committed to maintaining a safe, accurately represented, and well-prepared property.
Amazing stay just wish it was longer only thing is the mountain cliff looking down and getting up the drive way, be advised there’s no access to the bottom half
The drive up to the house is thrilling and terrifying at the same time. You don't want to pull a trailer up there for sure. It's a well maintained but single lane road with lots of hills and blind curves and a steep drop off. It was actually fun to drive (it's only .7 miles) but every minute you're hoping there's no oncoming car. During our 4 night stay, we only encountered one car late night when we were close to the house. It was clearly a local who knew exactly where to pull aside and let us pass. Whew!
As for the house, it was very clean and had a nice view. Lots of deck space and wow, the fresh air and quiet. Worth the drive, for sure 😊 We would definitely stay again. AWD recommended to get up the steep gravel driveway.
