About this property

Urban farm on 10 acres 15 minutes to downtown Nashville

The White House @1600 is an urban farm just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. We have included playing cards and dominos, as well as an XBOX with KINNECT. No need to worry about coffee as we keep a good stock of K-cups on hand as well as cream, and sugar. Our guests are able to access free WiFi as well as lots of entertainment options on our Roku TV. The property is 10 beautiful acres and we hope you have time to get outside and explore our piece of paradise. This house has been completely remodeled and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

1 private queen BR, + extra long bunk beds, full bath, full kitchen and LR. Stainless appliances and quartz countertop. Flatscreen Roku TV, XBOX 360, and lots of outdoor space to run around :). 1 mile from Peeler Park.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great spot that was close to much of Nashville but felt out in the country. The kids loved the animals and the host was so gracious and accommodating. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Janice and I are a happily married couple with 2 sets of twins :) We love to travel and enjoy life. It is our hope that everyone who visits our place will leave happy and wanting to visit Nashville again and again. Janice is a singer who has been blessed to perform at the Grand Ole Opry multiple times as well as many other venues in town. I, David, am an IT professional working for the State of TN for my entire career and look to retire to the farm life in the near future.

Why they chose this property

Our property is unique in that it is very easy to enjoy all that Nashville has to offer while being able to rest in the very laid back country atmosphere of our farm. Many of our guests enjoy daily walks in the pastures and visits with our Great Pyrenees dogs, sheep, cows, chickens, etc...

What makes this property unique

Just down the road is Peeler park. This park offers several miles of both paved and green trails for running/walking. It also has many miles of horse trails. It is not uncommon to see many deer and wild turkey while at Peeler park. If you wish to spend some time on the Cumberland river there is also a boat ramp at this park. The other very unique thing about Peeler park is the large remote control air strip. People of all ages love to watch pilots fly their planes here.
