Cosy cottage.

Compact yet wonderfully cosy, this charming cottage was the perfect spot for a weekend escape with my best friend. Just a short walk from the heart of Leura, it made an ideal base for exploring everything the area has to offer. The cottage was thoughtfully equipped with everything you need when you have no plans to cook. The renovated bathroom was lovely, the beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of cushions, and the electric blankets plus an efficient radiator kept us lovely and warm after long days out. Mary, the owner, was warm, welcoming, and provided excellent instructions.

The cabin was well equipped for a two night stay. The beds were comfortable with extra comforters which we needed as it was very cold. The oil heater took the chill off the room. Our host Mary was at hand and very friendly. She was kind enough to let us settle in earlier .Not far from town and the railway station it is great spot to explore the surrounding trails and walks.
Autumn is a beautiful time to visit with stunning colours.

Cosy stay

Mary and Christian's Cottage is set in a lovely garden behind their house, our stay was perfect, the cottage is well equipment with everything you need, great comfy beds with quality linen, plus complimentary wine & chocolates. Excellent location, easy drive to all attractions and walking distance to cafes and restaurants in Leura village. Great value.

Lovely cottage stay.

We had a great stay at Possum Wood. The cottage is cosy and compact. It's hosts have included everything you may need during your stay. It is close to the train station and centre of Leura. Mary provides detailed info but totally respects your privacy. Would thoroughly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Sweet little hideaway

Everything was provided and then some. Although in the hosts backyard, we had complete privacy. The host went over and above in providing luxuries. The bed clothes were extra warm and comfortable. Only negative was a noisy air con unit.

Short break in Leura

Well appointed cabin with all the necessities and beautifully maintained . Very comfortable beds ,snug and warm with electric blanket , a column heater and air conditioner if required. Adequate kitchen ( well stocked with crockery and cutlery) and a clean well kept bathroom. Mary, our host was very friendly and insightful with her requirements for our stay. Would recommend this property to all, except people with mobility issues, as it’s a steep walk up to the cabin if you have problems in this regard.

Comfy, cute, compact, perfect for a couple of days

Although the cottage is small it is really beautifully appointed with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We were out walking in the gorgeous Blue Mountains NP during the day so really only there to sleep, shower, breakfast so weren’t bothered by the size. Beds are really comfy and warm, heating effective, lovely gardens. TV, internet, good shower. Close to the main residence but we didn’t really see anyone. Conveniently located just off the highway, easy connections for onward journey. Good pizza at the nearby pub. Immaculate and tasteful with lovely gardens. If you don’t need much space it's a bit of a gem.

Charming cottage retreat

Our stay at this adorable cottage was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmth of the cozy heater, perfect for those chilly evenings. The cottage itself was incredibly comfy, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful garden surrounding the property. It provided a picturesque backdrop for morning coffees. The tranquility of the garden added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay. Another plus was the convenience of transportation. While the cottage provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, we appreciated that it was just a short Uber ride away from Katoomba. Plus, at only $15, it was a budget-friendly option. Overall, our experience at this cottage was nothing short of wonderful. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming retreat in the Blue Mountains!
