Great stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was quick and seamless, and she made it incredibly easy to extend my stay for an extra night. Highly recommend staying here—I'll definitely be back!
Such a cute house! It’s decorated so fun, had everything we needed, was easy to access and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host had great communication and was so kind. Definitely recommend staying here!
Quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, airport and downtown Cedar Rapids. Especially enjoyed the tree-shaded patio on the side of the home.
Such a great home! Host was responsive. Location was good. It was fun to step back in time with all of the fabulous mid-century decore. Space was perfect for our needs.
It is a cute house in a neighborhood of MCM houses. It is not a walkable location but everything is a short drive away. Since this is a split level house, it is not for anyone with mobility issues. The living spaces are on the first floor. The bedrooms and 1 bath are a level down and the small second bath and rec room are another level down.
Very nice. Loved the 60's decor vibe. Really enjoyed our selves. Great to be back in Iowa and the house was right around the corner from some good friends.
We were visiting Cedar Rapids for the funeral of my father in law. We needed a house with plenty of room to spread out and also have family stop by after the visitation, etc. This home was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood was close to the church where the funeral was held. We enjoyed walking the
Four siblings celebrated what would have been our mother’s 100th birthday. We grew up around the corner from this home and in a very similar and contemporary home. This one brought back lots of memories. The detail decorative features and furnishings made us feel like we were 17 again.
Overall our stay was good. The biggest negative was when we arrived at the property, the trash bin was overflowing. This definitely made me wonder what the rest of the property would be like inside, and when was the last time the owner/host was actually at the property.I believe unless the the previous guests had stayed at least a week, that amount of trash could not have been generated in a 3 or 4 day period.Once inside, the property was in very good condition,
The house was very cool, old school 70s vibe that I remember as a kid. The listing shows 3 bedrooms, which it had, but in the details it showed bedroom one with a queen and 2 singles. Each room had a queen bed, but no single beds to be found. The owner is calling the sofas single beds. They weren’t pull outs or futons, they were hard uncomfortable couches. A sofa is a sofa, and a bed is a bed. As an added touch, I was offered an air mattress that was in a closet somewhere. It’s one thing if you know ahead of time that someone will be sleeping on a sofa, but when you’re expecting everyone to have an actual bed and then get there to find out that’s not the case, and then trying to decide who’s getting the short end of the stick is not cool.State it in the description so people know what to expect
